A great four-night stay at SAii Laguna Phuket — we would highly recommend it. Our room was fantastic, with the day beds a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The ferry and shuttle services were convenient, and the facilities, including the waterslide and games area, were excellent for the kids. A special mention to Jintana (Gift), who was incredibly helpful in the lead-up to our stay and warmly welcomed us on arrival. Thank you also for organising the club privileges, which made the experience even more special. A shout-out to Helena and Dani, who were also wonderful during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort and very much look forward to returning in the future.

We had a very pleasant stay at SAii Laguna Phuket and overall we were very satisfied. The staff were consistently friendly, quick to respond, and professional, always doing their best to help. The kids club was a real highlight. Our daughter loved it, the activities were well organized, and the staff were warm and attentive. It made a big difference to our stay and allowed us to relax. One drawback is that the rooms are somewhat soundproof, and during our stay we occasionally experienced noise from our Russian neighbours in the evenings. The hotel staff handled this well and did their best to assist us. It’s also worth noting that during our visit, the majority of guests appeared to be Russian. This may be useful information for travelers who prefer a more mixed international atmosphere. Overall, a very nice resort with great service and an excellent kids club.

Honest Review On Booking Saii During Holiday Season Wouldn't recommend this hotel. You deserve and can get a better experience at the same price. Tldr: Good: - hotel is renovated and in good location Bad: - staff clearly untrained and dismissive. For Thailand it is probably the worst service you would receive for what you pay - service extremely slow. 2 hour wait for food anywhere in the resort - management knows but doesn't care. We politely provided feedback many times over the course of our stay. It won't change. All the managers in the hotel up to the GM know ----- More Details Below ----- This property does not meet five-star standards and, based on my experience, barely delivers the level of service expected of a two-star hotel. The service throughout the stay was consistently unprofessional. Staff were unhelpful, rude, and often dismissive, with a clear lack of basic hospitality training and common sense. This was especially evident among the restaurant and breakfast staff, where simple requests were met with attitude rather than assistance. The staff have no training and barely understand English. What was most disappointing was the repeated attempt by management - general manager Bart (with one exception Helen who was kind and apologetic) to justify poor service by blaming “peak season.” This excuse is unacceptable. The hotel is already charging significantly inflated peak-season rates, yet appears understaffed and unprepared to deliver even basic service levels. Peak season is predictable — poor planning is not an excuse. Bart , General Manger of operations wasn't apologetic but blamed pick season . By sending champagne bottle in room cannot justify their lack of service and professionalism. We have left champagne bottle inside the room . Another concern was transport. The hotel relies on third-party vehicles that were dirty, unhygienic, and completely inconsistent with a five-star brand. This was only fixed on the return transfer once raised. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The only positive worth mentioning is that the hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms themselves are modern and in good condition. However, nice rooms and facilities alone do not make a five-star hotel — service does. I would not recommend this property, particularly given its pricing. Until service culture, staff training, and accountability are addressed, SAii Laguna Phuket does not deserve its five-star positioning.

Saii Laguna Phuket is not a resort. It is a masterclass in how to burn money slowly while being gaslit politely. We booked 3 rooms for 6 people. The confirmation clearly said 3 rooms. We paid 53,000+ baht per night, totalling well over 150,000 baht for 3 nights. That is not “premium.” That is elite luxury pricing. At that rate you expect competence to be the bare minimum. Instead, we arrived and were handed 2 rooms. Two. Not a delay. Not a mistake they rushed to fix. Just two rooms and a straight face. And then came the cherry on this overpriced disaster cake: they offered a bed for the third person as if they were doing us a favour. A bed. As compensation for an entire room missing. Imagine paying for a luxury car and being handed a bicycle with a complimentary bell. When confronted, the staff admitted there was “miscommunication” and then did absolutely nothing about it. No urgency. No accountability. No solution. Just the same hollow corporate breathing exercises disguised as customer service. They were essentially telling us: yes we messed up, no we will not fix it, please smile and sleep on the extra bed. The manager, Warang Porit, was shockingly helpless. Not rude. Not aggressive. Worse. Useless. The kind of management presence that exists only to absorb complaints and convert them into nothing. And because this place loves adding insult to injury, the location is another trap. Saii Laguna is far from most of what people actually come to Phuket for. Ride apps refuse trips because it is too inconvenient. You wait forever for acceptance, then wait again for pickup, and pay around 1,000 baht per ride. So even after being robbed inside the resort, you get robbed again just to leave it. A luxury resort with no proper transport solution is not “secluded.” It is stranded. This resort also managed to ruin what was supposed to be a celebration. Nothing says “happy birthday” like fighting at reception over rooms you already paid for, while staff stand around as if this is a normal Tuesday. We left within hours. Because staying longer would have meant accepting the humiliation as part of the package. Saii Laguna Phuket is where expectations go to die. If you are considering booking this place, do yourself a favour and spend your money literally anywhere else, including a beach chair and a coconut. At least the coconut will not pretend you did not pay for the third room. 0/10
