We visited at the start of December for 3 nights. Stunning room, stunning location. This was our relaxing higher end resort to end our Thailand trip and it was well worth it. The hotel food and drink prices are ludicrously expensive though and with that price you would expect the quality to be top notch. Don’t get me wrong everything was yummy but nothing on the menu blew me away to justify the majority of the price points. There are other places you can walk to that are 10 mins away which we found out on our last night simply coz we got a little bored of the hotel dinner menus. Both pools are stunning, the beach is stunning. Staff were polite and friendly. We did one of the free yoga sessions which was fun. We tried out the spa and both of us got one of their treatment packages which was again lovely, worth the price- debatable. One thing you do have to keep in mind is the hotel is structured in a way that you need to get one of their buggy’s to drive you around the hotel. For us, this was quick and convenient- we were never waiting for a cart to pick us up. We did organise a transfer from Krabi to the island privately and then got the hotel to organise a driver from the dock to the hotel. On the way out we got the hotel to organise the transport to Phuket airport. To be honest this was pricy but worth it in our opinion just for the connivence factor. Honestly an overall 5 star stay for us.
Duangduean Kraisopha
We Stay for 3 nights for our wedding Anniversary. This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in Thailand. The area for breakfast it's fantastic so unique, and the rooms are make from wood the detail of the wood everywhere makes it so unique. The room sea view very beautiful very relax. The bar at the sunset area is stunning and the pools are great. There’s a large main pool with a waterfall and a second infinity pool. We love every minute to stay here would love to go back again.

This is likely due to the generous distribution of guests across the property. We stayed in a seawater villa and were extremely satisfied with the amount of space and the level of privacy it offered. Although the neighboring villa was undergoing renovation, noise disturbance was minimal. The resort is generally very well maintained and continuously cared for. The spa treatment was excellent, the breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the restaurants were outstanding as well—though prices are on the higher end. Guests looking to save money will find good dining options outside the resort. The beach is clean and very appealing, and the fitness center is well equipped. Overall, this is an excellent resort.

Mass tourism and inconvenient logistics This hotel operates very much like a tourist machine. Be prepared to spend a significant amount of time being transported around the property in overcrowded pick-up trucks. The resort itself is enormous and felt highly impersonal. As a guest, you quickly get the sense of being just another number rather than someone receiving a premium hospitality experience. We stayed in a villa with a private pool. While the villa itself was beautiful, all villas and rooms are located far from the beach and main lobby. Getting there requires waiting for a pick-up truck to take you to one stop, then often transferring to another truck to continue the journey — essentially set up like a bus network. The hilly terrain makes the ride bumpy, and you are packed closely together with other guests. The entire experience feels uncomfortable, overly crowded, and takes far too long. We had hoped to rent a scooter to explore the island independently and make getting around easier by parking it outside our villa. This was not allowed, and scooters had to be parked far outside the resort. The setup clearly discourages guests from leaving the property at all until check-out. Overall, this hotel did not meet our expectations of a luxurious, premium stay. The rooms and villas are undeniably stylish and offer great views, but at a rate of 21,500 THB per night, that should be a given — not the highlight.

The hotel is beautiful… amazing uninterrupted view of the ocean from the room and the breakfast restaurant. The most amazing place! Really lovely and beautiful . Good food at all the restaurants…. A wonderful spa by the beach. But it surely needs good English speaking staff… the conversation at every level gets a bit tedious as the staff really is bad at understanding English. The to and fro bus service to the rooms is very difficult for people which one realises only after reaching there.
