We had an excellent stay at W Punta Cana, and what truly set the experience apart was the staff. Santos, our server at the beach, was consistently attentive, friendly, and proactive. He made long beach days effortless and enjoyable and always remembered what we needed without being asked. Joe, the bartender at Noodle, was outstanding. His cocktails were excellent, but more importantly, his service and personality elevated every visit. He created a welcoming atmosphere and clearly takes pride in his craft. Joselo, our server at the wet bar, was fantastic as well. Despite how busy it can get, he remained upbeat, efficient, and genuinely kind. His service made the pool experience even better. I also want to give special recognition to Victor Abba, one of the lifeguards. After I accidentally swam into coral, Victor responded immediately and professionally. He treated me with care, calm, and confidence, and his actions made a stressful situation feel completely under control. His presence alone reflects extremely well on the resort’s safety standards. I saw him a few days later and he made sure to check up on me, then we joked about the experience. Overall, this was a memorable stay driven by exceptional people. The W Punta Cana has clearly invested in hiring and training staff who care deeply about guest experience. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort.

My first all-inclusive experience is at W Punta Cana, and it was absolutely a great choice and holiday present. This hotel offered us the five-star experiences through the entire stay - a new and high-end property, quiet and peaceful with great choices of vibrant music at pools. More staff members than guests and you feel you consistently get whole-hearted service and attention. After 5 nights stay here, you feel like part of the family here. And I feel pulpy recharged back to work! A big shoutout to Hica - she is the role model of service excellence. It was a bit tricky to book reservation at the Roof Top restaurant but she deeply cared about our experiences, went a mile further to help us book the reservation and made sure we had a great dining experience there. I have to say Sushi they prepared is pretty good but please watch out for the flies during the sunset/evening time and come prepared - wear long sleeves and pants, spray-off etc.

W Punta Cana opened just recently, in April, so everything feels new, stylish, and very thoughtfully designed. If you’re someone who cares about aesthetics, this place is honestly a dream. There are two pools, each with its own vibe, and both are super photogenic What I really loved was the service. Everyone was genuinely friendly, always smiling, and the cleaning was perfect every single day. Anytime we needed something, they responded right away and were super helpful A special shoutout to the restaurant Scena it became our favorite. All the restaurants were good in their own way, but Scena really stood out for the atmosphere and the service. The desserts were surprisingly amazing, and I love that the coffee shop is open almost all day. I’ll add some photos so you can see the place yourself. If you’re into beautiful spaces, great service, and overall good vibes, this hotel is exactly what you’re looking for. The food was tasty, and there was plenty of variety. We honestly enjoyed our stay a lot

My wife and I visited this resort to celebrate our 7th anniversary. It was our first all-inclusive trip to the Dominican Republic, and as Marriott Gold Elite members, we were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which is not something we usually get. The food was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. Since we don’t drink alcohol, I can’t comment on that aspect. The resort itself was very pleasant, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. You do need reservations for dinner which we made 2 days in advance usually to be safe. You cannot make reservations more than 1-2 days out. You use an app called Marriott experience as well to do it. Overall, we highly recommend this resort and would definitely return in the future. We used CJ Transfer Punta Cana to get to and from the airport.

We came in with neutral expectations, hoping that since the resort had been open for a while—and given my Titanium status—prior feedback would have led to improvements. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Check‑in set the tone: the staff member assisting us spoke almost no English, and this language barrier continued throughout our stay. We also discovered that the advertised $1,000 Marriott credit was essentially a bait‑and‑switch, with no room upgrades available and the credit broken into categories that covered almost nothing. While the property’s design is impressive, the execution falls far short of W or Marriott standards. Our “Tropical View” room overlooked an empty lot with a broken fence, and the hotel’s fit and finish were consistently poor—construction markings, broken fixtures, missing tiles, and flaking varnish throughout. Housekeeping was inconsistent, with basic items like coffee cups and tissues not replenished. Food was generally good, though inconsistent, especially with drinks depending on the bar or bartender. High‑end liquor options were a plus. Service staff tried hard, and we want to recognize Baby A for great entertainment and Joel for exceptional help. The spa and hydrotherapy were enjoyable, though even there we experienced inconsistency in communication. At checkout, the credit issue resurfaced—again with confusion and limited English—and we had to specifically request the $30 food and beverage credit we had used. Overall, the credit situation felt unethical and far below Marriott standards, especially given my long‑standing loyalty. We hope improvements are made, but our experience left us disappointed.
