Me and my family have been to dominican on multiple vacations and so far this resort is a 10/10. The buffet, ala carte, the drinks and everything were excellent. Also the workers and people especially reception checking in and out were amazing and friendly. The pools and the bar man in the lobby are so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment was really good and the energy that the entertainment team have is the best. The rooms and service were also 10/10 and always clean. I can tell the owner of the resort treats the workers amazingly because the way they treat the guests and we will definitely be back.

Overall, we had a wonderful vacation. The weather was consistently sunny, and the resort itself was beautiful. We were given a great room conveniently located near both the front desk and the pool, which made getting around very easy. The water park was a huge highlight for our 5-year-old, and we spent a lot of time there throughout the trip. The rooms were comfortable and well-stocked, with plenty of beverage options in the minibar. We also appreciated the 24-hour room service. We even used it for lunch one day while our baby was napping and we were taking a break from the sun. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. That said, there were a few drawbacks. The biggest issue was the prepaid airport transportation. When we arrived, the driver was nowhere to be found, and since we didn’t have cell service, it was difficult to contact him. Thankfully, another driver allowed us to use his phone. It turned out our driver was located far from the designated pickup area, near a café by the street. It took us nearly an hour to find him, and then another 45 minutes while he arranged a vehicle. After a long travel day, that was definitely frustrating. The beach was another disappointment. It was quite dirty and covered with seaweed during our stay—perhaps due to the season. Additionally, the vendors on the beach were very persistent, which made it difficult to relax. As a result, we spent the remainder of our trip enjoying the pool and water park instead. The restaurants were very good overall, with some standing out more than others. One of our favorite experiences was the specialty dinner show, Oneiro. It was incredibly entertaining, and the kids absolutely loved it. The evening entertainment after dinner, however, was less impressive. Some shows felt underwhelming, and on certain nights there didn’t appear to be any entertainment at all. There were also a few minor maintenance issues, such as the balcony light not working and running out of conditioner, but both were addressed promptly the following day. Overall, this is a beautiful, family-friendly resort with excellent amenities for children. If beach time isn’t your main priority, I would highly recommend it. We had a great experience and would definitely consider returning in the future.

We had an amazing experience thanks to Isaisas. He is incredibly handsome, friendly, and always willing to help. His positive attitude and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. Isaisas did a wonderful job organizing activities and making sure we had a great time every day. He was always attentive, cheerful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. I love staying at Bahia Principe Punta Cana. The guest experience is always excellent. Michel Osoria provides outstanding service. We feel that Michel is more like a family friend than a staff member. He is a genuinely kind and caring person. I asked him for many things during our stay, and he was always willing to help with a smile. This year, we were planning to travel to Mexico, but my wife said no because she loves coming here. This place feels like home to us. We plan to return every year as long as Michel is here. Thank you, Michel, for making our vacations so special.

The place is too big and too many people. The app is terrible to use in order to find the restaurants on the property. Beach front is small and over crowded. Most the bartenders make drinks differently and they are slow to serve you. When I say there is too many people there was a line everytime for the buffets. And once in the buffet it was like entering the thunder dome with all the people. Food was ok but not great. We did have a nice dinner at the fish market restaurant. I do not recommend doing the hibachi dinner at maiko. My biggest complaint is towards other travellers staying at this place. They are rude and have no sense of international respect. They think they can leave towels on pool chairs all dam day everyday to reserve them. The entire trip my gf and I could never get a set of loungers at the pool due to too many people leaving there towels on them all day.
