This resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush greenery, and offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that makes it the perfect getaway for families, couples, and friends. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The service was exceptional from the entrance to the front desk. Although we arrived earlier than the standard check-in time due to an early flight, the team graciously accommodated us with an early check-in, which we greatly appreciated. After check-in, we were conveniently transported to our room by golf cart, adding to the overall comfort and hospitality. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any questions or requests. Their positive attitude truly made a difference in our experience. The resort offers a wide variety of activities for both children and adults throughout the day, ensuring that everyone has something enjoyable to do. The buffet features an impressive selection of delicious food, and the three reservation-based specialty restaurants provide excellent dining options for guests seeking additional variety. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. The combination of outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, excellent dining, and family-friendly activities made this a memorable vacation. I enjoyed the hotel very much, entertainment team was great, they always had a show going on keeping the guest entertained. The food in the buffet was amazing. Only thing I didn’t like was the beach, I know it’s not the hotels fault, but it has jelly fish. If you want to enjoy the beach please find another hotel as you will only be able to swim in the pool.

beautiful beach. incredibly friendly and helpful staff. our room was cleaned daily. this resort was an absolutely amazing experience. there is amstar staff in the lobby all day every day to help you book different adventures in the country. they transport you from the resort and back. so many cool experiences and they made it feel very safe for my wife and i. i will be saving up to come here again.

There is plenty to choose from, including vegan and vegetarian selections, and both adults and children should be able to find something they enjoy. While the restaurants do make an effort to introduce visitors to Dominican cuisine, the flavors are adapted to appeal to tourists who may not be familiar with local food. As a result, some of the authentic Dominican seasoning and richness are missing, but the overall quality and variety are still good. The all-inclusive drink selection includes plenty of local cocktails and mixed drinks, such as mojitos and other tropical favorites. Most are prepared with syrups rather than fresh local fruit, making them sweeter than what you might find outside the resort. One area that could be improved is communication regarding activities. The resort offers events and entertainment throughout the day, but they are not always promoted effectively. A centralized location, schedule, or app showing where and when activities are taking place would make it much easier for guests to participate. Guests should also know that the beaches in La Romana are generally not as clear and turquoise as those found in other areas of the Dominican Republic, such as Puerto Plata. Even so, the scenery is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere remains relaxing and enjoyable. Conveniently located about an hour from the airport and cruise port, this resort is a great option for travelers looking for a family-friendly destination with plenty of amenities, good food, and excellent service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.
