The hotel is nice and very big. Lots of pools and bars. Buffet is great. Restaurants get booked fast so better book on your first day. The Asian restaurant has terrible food. Staff is mostly nice, especially if you tip them. The train travels every few minutes, but you can walk easily to where you need to go. Beach is ok, plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Food and drinks are included, including adult beverages. Rooms, however, are small. Master room is ok. Kids room is very tiny and beds aren't comfy. No lounge in the room. It felt a bit too cramped.

As a solo female traveler, I chose this resort for its affordable price, beachfront location, and beautiful pool. If your main goal is to relax by the pool or beach, this is a good option. The rooms and amenities were clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. However, the food was a major downside. Overall, it was bland and lacked flavor. If you have allergies or concerns about cross-contamination, I would strongly avoid the omelette and burrito stations, as the same bowls and utensils are used for all ingredients and guests. I also would not recommend the FOGO restaurant. Both I and several other guests ended up leaving mid-meal due to the poor food quality, which was very disappointing. If you consider yourself a foodie, this may not be the place for you. In terms of entertainment, there were a few activities throughout the day, but options were limited. Customer service was average at best. I often felt overlooked, especially at the buffet and restaurants, and I believe there is room for improvement in this area. That said, as a solo female traveler, I did feel safe and comfortable during my stay, which is important. Overall, this resort works if you’re prioritizing relaxation and value, but it falls short in food quality and service.

Just got back home from this resort and overall it was a good trip. We had a couple issues that I will mention and then I will end my comments with all the positives that helped forget the issues we had! When we first got to the resort at 2pm our room (1306) wasn't ready and we're informed to just go to the shops until it was ready at 3pm at 3pm the room still wasn't ready and we're informed to just wait. At 5:30pm we finally started to get a bit annoyed and they just changed our room (1320) and sent us on our way. When we got to the new room the door was open and nothing was cleaned, the AC wasn't working and we had no towels. We went back to the from desk and informed them and the response was OK just wait! We never got towels until 9am the next day and We just dealt with the AC issue for the remainder of our vacation. Now onto the positive things that helped us enjoy the resort. The entertainment crew (Franklin and Madelyn) especially had us all dancing and enjoying every moment in and around the main pool. Wellington and Juan Trinidad at the pool bar were absolutely amazing (especially Wellington) He was hands down the best bartender I've ever had at all resorts I've been too. Yulian at the Lobby bar was so much fun and made some really good drinks. And last but definitely not least all the serving staff in the buffet were amazing and made each night extremely enjoyable with fast and memorable service.

I would like to sincerely thank the entire staff at La Tagliata Restaurant at Caribe Deluxe in Punta Cana for their outstanding service throughout our stay. A very special thanks goes to Jesus, Anderson, Maître d’ Samora, and Chef Fernando, whose warm smiles, kindness, and professionalism made every dinner a truly enjoyable experience. It’s rare to meet people who do their job with such passion and genuine care for their guests. I would also like to thank the team for the wonderful surprise they prepared for us during tonight’s dinner. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening even more special and unforgettable. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the reception staff, who were always welcoming, friendly, and professional. Their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to every detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Congratulations to the entire team, and thank you for making both our vacation and our dining experience so memorable. We look forward to coming back again soon!

I chose Caribe Deluxe Princess for the low price, and there were a few highlights. Nathaniel from entertainment brought great energy, a couple lobby bartenders were excellent, and one buffet staffer was truly attentive. Unfortunately, the downsides outweighed the positives. The food was bland with almost no variety. Cold cuts sat out without ice. And the buffet felt unsanitary, with cats wandering around and birds landing on tables and eating from unattended plates. Communication was difficult because many staff spoke very little English and several seemed unsure how to help. The beach had a lot of seaweed, and third-party sellers felt scammy with confusing overcharges. I also found a water bottle in the room’s mini-fridge that didn’t appear to be properly sealed, which made me uncomfortable. Budget-friendly, yes, but I wouldn’t return.
