Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort

Stayed at the Grand Sirenis with my family for 10 days. It's in a great location and the hotel was clean. I only have a few negatives that let the place down..... (1)The pool is far to warm in the afternoons. (2) No teaspoons in our room with the coffee maker or on your table when having breakfast in the restaurant. (3) I asked for an extra pillow on day 2 and never received one. (4) Huge amounts of seaweed on the beach (not the hotels fault and there were guys going up and down on a tractor every morning to try and clear it up. (5) Entertainment is on quite late usually starting around 9pm ( Not ideal for my 5 year old son) There is plenty of places to eat and drink which was great. The sports bar and coffee shop were decent and the themed restaurants, water park were to. 👍🏻 I wouldnt rate this hotel at 5 star but definitely a 4. As I say in all it was a good holiday but just those little things let it down. Thank you to all the staff who worked very hard around the clock. 😊

We travelled this past week as a family of four with two grandparents. We had an incredible time! Felicidad was an incredible addition to our trip. She had our kids involved with a variety of games and activities and was an absolute addition to our vacation. She definitely made it memorable, and my two boys were more involved this year than any other year we’ve travelled. Ana in the buffet restaurant welcomed us every morning with a smile and had the best service. Overall we had an incredible time. The activities, and atmosphere made it a memorable vacation for our family!

Felicida was a super beautiful friendly energetic lovely lady. The entertainment brought fun at the end of the day. I particularly liked a couple of the cheeky lads who would make us laugh. My husband and I have been to the Dominican Republic around ten times over the last three decades and I have to say the Michael Jackson this year was THE BEST we’ve ever seen. He looked like MJ danced like MJ and even knew the words of the songs 😉 (which is a first). My friend with us said he was as good as the West End MJ.

Rooms were dirty when we checked in. The food was 2 out of 5. Everything from coffee to cold drinks were horrible. The pool was nice. It didn’t feel like all-inclusive because choices of food were very limited. This Resort is definitely not a 5 start hotel. It is a 3 start at best. Had a very bad experience staying here: 1) when we checked in, the room floor was very dirty. As if it has not been cleaned for weeks. 2) no such thing as room service here. They have very limited food options for room service. 3) most of the resturants were not available for dinner. Had to make reservations ad odd times to be able to eat there. 4) none of the restaurants are open during lunch’. So u have to eat at the buffet. 5) there is a lot of cross contamination if u don’t eat meat or have certain food restrictions. Ex. When making omelets, they use the same dirty bowl to mix the veggies as the one with ham. 6) the waffles maker was filthy. 7) the golf cart was not available to take us to the Walter part bc battery was dead. 8) this is not really a true all inclusive experience.

We booked a balcony room facing the ocean and it was a beautiful view. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about it. We put a do not disturb on the door, closed our bedroom door and left our room. When we came back there was a fruit plate in our living room we did not ask for and our bedroom door was open. Our bed was not made. They entered our room against our do not disturb for what purpose I don't know. The room was dirty. There was long black hairs on the bed The bedding is white and there was black fuzzes at the bottom of the sheets. The toilet had nasty residue on the flusher. I felt very uncomfortable with how dirty it was. It was like someone was staying in the room. They made the bed and left and then we checked into it. Half the restaurants were closed. You can't get reservations to the other ones. The buffet was very bland for dinner and breakfast. We ate at the teppanyaki place. That was good. Don't waste your money at this place. We have stayed in a lot of locations, not all of them the best but this is the worst. I have never experienced anything like this before. We checked out of the hotel 2 days early and went to the Hard Rock in Punta Cana instead. They were amazing, what a vacation should be. Do not go to this one. Save your money spend a little more and get the better hotel
