I would like to shout out Basilio at the front desk and Rosa who served us hot coffee and juice every morning during breakfast at the market. Both Rosa and Basilio provided exceptional pleasant and welcoming guest service during each encounter. The property is huge, with plenty of walking from one area to another. But, there are also golf carts available if you choose not to get your steps in. The rooms are okay, spacious and clean. Also, there is enough pools for everyone to enjoy a great swim without too much overcrowding. The lazy river is the absolute best. The hotel has tons of fun activities for everyone to enjoy. The reason for giving this hotel a 3-star rating was because of an experience with one particular guest service representative, Omar Mercedes who was very rude and dismissive. Omar has no place working as guest service representative with his attitude. This is a matter I have spoken on separately with the hotel management. Thanks to Mirla and Ambar at the guest services for stepping in to resolve my issue. Instead of being dismissive and finding a “solution” without first knowing the problem, they employed active listening and problem solving skills. Overall, my family had a good time.

We had an amazing stay at Ocean El Faro! The resort is beautiful, the rooms were great, the food was good, and there was always something to do. But what truly made our vacation unforgettable was the incredible service at the Privilege Pool Bar. A special thank you to Jhon and Johnathan. They are, without a doubt, two of the best bartenders we've ever had at an all-inclusive resort. They were always fast, attentive, and incredibly charismatic. No matter how busy the bar got, they were always on top of every order, making amazing drinks with a smile and making every guest feel welcome. Jhon, in particular, went above and beyond every single day. He even saved us pool chairs right next to the bar so we would have a place to relax together. That wasn't something he had to do—it was simply the kind of exceptional customer service he provides. He consistently checked in on us, remembered what we liked to drink, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. Employees like Jhon and Johnathan are a huge reason why guests want to come back. Their professionalism, positive attitudes, and outstanding service elevated an already great vacation into an unforgettable one. If you're staying at Ocean El Faro, make sure you spend time at the Privilege Pool Bar. Jhon and Johnathan will take excellent care of you. We can't wait to come back!

Franyer was perfect. He deserves more money for sure. We had trouble with our first room, it was never cleaned. They upgraded us to an adult section area with a more service. We were able to get top shelf liquor and a butler. He was able to make dinner reservations for us. The food was alright, didn’t expect much at an all inclusive. If you are looking for a party scene, don’t come in the summer, more spring and winter. If you are looking for a relaxing trip with friends this is the place!

My husband and I stayed at El Beso (adults only) part of the resort! We had an amazing time there! The crowd at the pool was so much fun! Emmanuel- Cappuccino and Heriberto / sexi chocolates at the pool was amazing! He made our trip so much fun with the games and volleyball! We loved it!! Will recommend to our friends!!

I’m a club member and to be honest the hotel needs a better costumer service. The grounds are beautiful and so are the rooms. The entertainment group is amazing, the shows are very good including Antonio, and Edison at the adults bar session are very attentive. The staff at the El Mercado Buffet need to work on their costumer service. On several occasions we sit on the buffet and no one offers anything to drink. We ask for a spoons and waited for over half an hour. The staff at the buffet are not friendly at all. We still managed to have a great time.
