Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites

Date of stay - June 2026 2 Adults and 1 child Great hotel, clean, rooms made up every single day and towels changed daily also. Service second to none. The hotel has a policy of quiet hours after 10pm which was good too know as sound can travel from adjoining rooms and at one point I thought I might of needed to engage with the staff to intervene which they strictly enforce, but thankfully, the overly loud room next door left. Not sure why the cheap toilet paper as we just ended up using twice as much, small thing really. The pool is very shallow, never getting any deeper than roughly 3ft, so swimming is difficult, but as relief from the hot humid environment is 1st class. Brace yourself for a hefty bar bill if drinking at the pool or the bar in there hotel, very much in keeping with big city prices. The cafe is good for some things such as pizza, but for a good breakfast IHop is a five minute walk away which is almost impossible to finish for less money, the breakfast in the hotel is meger at best. The free shuttle buses to the parks are great, Andy the early access to the parks is worth it's weight in gold. Getting around - if you're staying local, Ubers are cheap, efficient, friendly and plentiful. If you're planning get out further afield, hire a car for those days, but for us, there was no point as we had free shuttle buses. Eating out from this location - we found Icon Park a really good option which is a 5 dollar Uber away where there are a good range of restaurants for all tastes. All in all though, 4.5 stars from me, would definitely stay here again.

Online 💻 the Universal Dockside Hotel shows as a value hotel, which is crazy bc Dockside was absolutely lovely and the amenities were fabulous! Located on the Universal.direct bus route, just a few minutes to Universal's City Center, the parks, & 25 minutes to Disney - you're so close to all the parks for easy access. Checking is a breeze and the host team was fluent in every language, accommodating, courteous, & ready to help make the say easy. There is a Parks Ticketing counter, luggage hold, Starbucks ☕️, and a full cafeteria style restaurant. And a Universal Parks store. Each tower has a massive pool with plenty of seating and activities for the kids, excellent parking (Note: there is a fee to park per night). The rooms seem nice. Ours was a simple standard 2 Queen room, but it was adequate for our needs. There was a fridge, tv, work space, good bathroom. Everywhere we went, the hotel and team was gracious, helpful, and had a smile. Plus, the kids felt safe and enjoyed the character meetings. Totally recommend!

We wanted to stay close to Universal Studios and chose this hotel because of its convenient location and the one-bedroom suite option. As a family of five, we found the suite comfortable and spacious enough for all of us. We were only there for a short stay, but the kids spent most of their time enjoying the pool. The lifeguards were outstanding—professional, attentive, and even conducting training sessions while we were there. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were actively watching over the children. For the adults, the pool area was relaxing, and the bar offered a great variety of cocktails. My favorite feature was the full-service Starbucks on the property. Being able to enjoy my morning coffee without leaving the hotel was a wonderful bonus. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed at Dockside Inn & Suites for 8 nights while attending a volleyball tournament, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. The location couldn't have been better—only about 3 miles from the Orange County Convention Center, with Uber rides averaging around $10, which made getting back and forth incredibly easy. The two-bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable, and gave everyone plenty of room to relax after long tournament days. We also loved the pools, which were a great way to unwind, and the lobby was beautiful, welcoming, and always well-maintained. One of the best things about this hotel is how convenient it is to everything. Whether we were heading to the convention center, the parks, or grabbing food nearby, it was all quick and easy. We truly loved every second of our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend Dockside Inn & Suites for families, tournament travel, or anyone visiting the Universal area!

We had a fantastic 4 night stay at Universal’s Endless Summer Dockside Inn and Suites in a 2 bedroom and it was great. The room was very clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. We were on the 10th floor and had a really nice view that made the stay even better. The bus service to the parks was fantastic. A special thank you to Lena at check-in. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel valued right away. She acknowledged our anniversary and truly helped make the start of our stay feel special. Her kindness and positive attitude stood out and set the tone for a great trip. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we will absolutely stay here again!
