Richard at the members pool was awesome. He always took care of us, provided anything that we needed, and went out of his way to make sure we were good. Betania is the best bar tender on the resort. Makes great drinks, always friendly and smiling. Eduardo was awesome, always taking us where we needed to go on the trolley. Great attitude and took his time to show us where things were.

Richard at the members pool bar was top notch. He took care of us everyday. Friendly, fun and always excited to see us! Remembered our drink order and always had one ready for us. He made sure we had food and that we were happy. Betania was my girl !!!! She was always so excited to see us. Mini beer shots!! She was the best at making my passion fruit mojito. She was always full of good spirits and love. Eduardo the cart driver was always readily available for us. Although the resort is big, he took us everywhere we needed. He was always so fun and just made the ride that much more exciting. Beep beep.

The hotel is wonderful and the beach is absolutely beautiful. We were treated like family the entire stay. Joan was super helpful and was there for us with any questions we had and introduced us to Meldy our butler. He was fantastic as well and made it super easy to book all of our Al La cartes and ensured we got a spot at the Hibachi table. He went above and beyond by setting up a romantic setting in our room while we were out with ballon’s, rose petals, champagne on ice and a drawn bath. It was amazing. He was always accessible through WhatsApp as well which was very comforting knowing I could reach out at any time I needed. We had an issue our last night with a leaky roof because of the rain and received immediate help to switch rooms which was much appreciated. All of the staff were super friendly which made the trip so much more enjoyable. The Chic Cabaret is an experience no one should miss! It was so fun and absolutely incredible! The food wasn’t very good at the show but it is still a must see and worth the extra cost.

Room was comfortable and cleaned every day. Had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Loved the swim out! Our butler Cesareo Montero and the two young ladies that cover when he is not here were like having family next door. Thank you Cesaeo for our special surprise! Had a great time and ultimately it was a wonderful vacation the facilities were clean and everyone was friendly. If you like to be tended to and crave constant interaction and attention this place is for you. The staff tries to sell experiences at every turn and is relentless in their pursuit. We couldn’t escape someone trying to get us to go to the spa, book excursions, or buy photos that we did not want taken. It was often hard to relax because we were approached so many times. I understand that some people enjoy this kind of service but we did not and it was incredibly invasive. At one point, a man who harassed us into taking photos we did not want to take and a man tried to guilt us into doing an excursion saying “you guys really aren’t going to do anything?”. When the staff isn’t trying to hock something it’s vendors on the beach. We paid for the premium experience and still had to deal with people on the beach with large birds asking if we wanted photos or hair braiding, I think paying for the reserved spot on the beach should preclude you from these kind of interactions but I understand everyone has to make a buck. The food was fine, to be expected at a large resort but we did love Delores at Portofinos she was funny and sweet and the service there isn exceptional. We got massages at the spa and that was wonderful Noemi and Rosanna were great and for how much they try to sell you on the spa experience, they don’t bug you once you actually are at the spa. The manor in which you book reservations had to be done through a butler, ours, Randy was great but not being able to do things independently was cumbersome and added more work to simple requests - again I understand some people enjoy this kind of service but it’s not for us, we came on vacation to be left alone. This would be a great place for a large group and there seemed to be a lot of opportunities for activities with kids.
