WE LOVE Sun Palace!!!! Husband and I stay there 3 to 4 times a year, considering we could travel to countless other countries and choose Sun Palace says a lot, they treat you like family why go anywhere else!! The hospitality and service is par none. Sun Palace is an All-inclusive resort on the Cancun strip. Super convenient, airport about 15 min. away. We have read reviews/heard personal stories about resorts in the Cancun area not having good food. I can assure you every meal will be excellent!!! If you don't see what you want just ask your waiter and they will get it for you (obviously within reason) They are highly alert about allergies and ask at every meal before seating. We are especially impressed with the Aurora restaurant at night with the Mexican selections as well as Fuego Restaurant which presents with an excellent Salmon, Picanha, truffled mashed potatoe and mac and cheese.. to die for!!! There is a sweet and coffee shop in the main lobby, you can self-serve fruit, cookies or hot coffee alternatively order a cold brew, latte, many different crepes, incredible ice cream or sandwich options. Great way to start your day, or you could go to the breakfast buffet. Pool options: They have a large Infiniti pool with swim-up bar. It is called the activities pool. Water volleyball 2xs a day, depending on the day of the week there's a performer at 1:00, a crazy game and some dancing after that. If you're looking for a chiller vibe there are 2 pools which are on the other side, with plenty of seating also overlooking the ocean. The beach is beautiful and there is usually a spot with cabana cover. They have really good shows in The Bar (Lobby Bar) 2xs a night and in the ballroom. The bartenders (Mario, Mike, Juan) will definitely make you laugh they are so fun!!! They also have some very nice liquor choices which do change on occasion however recently they have Grey Goose, Titos, Crown Royal, Maestro Dobel Diamante, Patron Cristalino to name a few. Depending on the time of year you can watch mama turtles lay their eggs or watch the babies be let go as a nighttime activity. The rooms are spacious with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and very well maintained There's so many more amazing things we could say about this resort.. however don't want to be so lengthy. Beautiful place! The restaurants are great room service is amazing! Every single staff member is kind and ready to help you. It’s a smaller more intimate low-key setting. My only issue is due to the humidity. Sometimes the rooms smell a little bit musty, but I guess that’s to be expected due to the nature of the weather in Cancun.

We had such a lovely stay here! There are tons of hotel options to choose from, but we are glad we stayed at Sun Palace. First thing to note in the hotel itself - it’s recently updated and the room was very nice. It wasn’t crowded so we didn’t have to fight for pool chairs and could move between the pools as we wanted. The quiet pool was our favorite, but we liked also going over to the party pool and doing some of the fun games. They keep the beach really clean too. The service is outstanding across the board. They really want you to feel special loved. Hot towels when you enter, bell service. Our pick up/drop off to/from the airport, even though we booked the shared shuttle, they gave us a private shuttle, which was really lovely. Highly recommend you book a shuttle through the hotel as there’s a ton of scams and ripoff taxis right outside immigration. Pool service were so attentive and quick. Servers were so sweet! For restaurants, we loved Fuego with our server Kevin and we loved Trattoria with our server Abel. The servers go above and beyond! The food is generally pretty good for an inclusive, but Fuego’s food we think was by far the best. Outside of this, throughout our stay, hotel personnel consistently asked us how we were doing. There were multiple times to give feedback on our experience and they were open and willing to hear everything that we had to share, which mostly was good things. The rooms are nicely updated - we loved the hot tub in the room, which is their base level room. Hotel gym had everything we needed. Drinks were not watered down here by any means, and there was entertainment every single day and every single night throughout the night to ensure that you had something to do in the hotel. Overall, this was a really fun stay and we are sad to leave. This was definitely a relaxing way to refuel ourselves before the new year. We didn’t do any day trips, tours, or any of the special offerings because they were a little bit on the more expensive side, but we still had a great time nonetheless. Would highly recommend some palace for your trip to Cancun!

Gabriella was fantastic with helping us schedule our lobster and steak dinner cruise and tulum tour. She also helped us navigate the local bus system and was so sweet and tried her best to help me get my hands on a bottle of Xtabentún liquor. Roberto Sanchez was excellent by helping with scheduling dinner and Le Blanc presentation which got us palace money! He also surprised me with balloons, cake, and champagne to celebrate my birthday!!! Plus, to top it off he was able to pinpoint where I could get Xtabentún liquor in town and wouldnt accept a tip! He humbly said we are friends no problem and my pleasure! Estrella, Juan, Alfredo, were superb with serving our meals, being diligent with my pineapple allergy, and special requests. Renan was very polite, patient, and determined to help me identify Alfredo so I could give him kudos. Juan and Miguel at the inside bar were hospitable and made great mixes drinks on the fly for me and they were so humorous as well. Oh and the resort upgraded our room from the deluxe ocean view to a honeymoon suite for free! The housekeeper made sure we always returned to a clean room with fresh sheets and towels 24/7.

We have been Palace members for six years, and on this trip we stayed in the Presidential Suite with our daughter and her fiancée. I love this suite because it gives us a comfortable place to unwind together. When we wanted a quiet evening, we ordered in‑room dining and enjoyed meals around the dining table—a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The restaurants at Sun Palace are truly top tier, and both the food and service were excellent. I’m a vegetarian, and I was pleasantly surprised by how many delicious options were available for my diet. The Vacation Planners were incredibly helpful and always happy to assist with arranging excursions. I also want to highlight the five‑star service throughout our stay. The Palace staff is consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming—they always greet you with a smile. All Palace Resorts are amazing, and I highly recommend staying at any of them. Thank you, Palace, for yet another fabulous experience.
