To me it was so nice, that I immediately booked again. I just couldn't find a better one. The closeness to the airport is a plus. There is an indoor pool, a playground, fireplaces, many sitting areas and conference rooms. Don Pedro, Don Pablo and Don Marco belong together. So we could use the facilities of all 3 of them. The staff was nice, the food was more than enough. Our stay was just amazing from all perspectives.

We got a taxi direct to and from the airport which cost 22 and 20 Euros respectively on a Saturday. Check-in was quick and efficient and our room was ready when we around mid-day which was a nice bonus. Bedroom - the bedroom was a good size with plenty of storage space, there was a good sized safe that was free and a fridge. There were useful USB and HDMI ports above the desk and plenty of other plug sockets. The bed was a Super King size and was very comfortable with large soft pillows. There was also a speaker tower in the room which we felt was totally unnecessary as it could potentially lead to noise issues if you were unlucky to have inconsiderate neighbours. Our room was cleaned daily to a very good standard by a friendly, cheerful maid. The noise insulation between rooms (at least in our case) was very good as for the majority of our stay we heard no noise from our neighbours. WIFI - the WIFI at times was very patchy in our room and we were regularly kicked off which became frustrating and annoying! Balcony - we had booked a Superior Full Frontal Seaview and loved the huge wraparound balcony with fantastic panoramic full frontal sea views. The balcony also had both standard chairs, reclining deck chairs and a table. Bath Room - the bathroom was also a good size with an excellent large walk in shower. There was both rain shower and wandering hose attachments that had good water pressure, stable temperature and hot water on demand. Shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, and hand soap were all provided. The towels were changed as and when required, and bed sheets were changed after three days. Dining - for me this was the most disappointing part of my stay. In my opinion the food was very repetitive even for a weeks stay and the hot food was very rarely warm unless you opted for a freshly cooked omelette that were very nice. Breakfast - There was a huge choice from cereals, fruit, cooked meats and cheese and a hot selection for an English breakfast as well as a live cooking station making omelettes and pancakes etc. There were multiple coffee stations along with juice and also Cava for those that wanted it. As is usually the case with hotel buffets the hot food was barely warm but thankfully there was a microwave available for those that like their hot food served hot. Dinner - Once again there was a huge selection to choose from that normally included at least one (and often more) of each of fish, meat and poultry dishes along with a plethora of other accompaniments. Desserts were fairly basic and did not change much during our weeks stay. We really liked that the drinks menu was was printed on the table place mats although it was disappointing and surprising that wine could not be ordered by the glass, the minimum being half a bottle. Entertainment - we were surprised and appreciated to see an entertainments program available during the day and evening for our stay in January 2026. We watched the evening entertainment most nights and found most of the acts quite enjoyable. Location - in our opinion this hotel is in an excellent location with Torremolinos old town around a 15 to 20 minute walk away located up quite a few steps or can also be accessed by a lift located close to the rear of the hotel Melia Sol and costs just 50 cents each way. Benalmadena Marina is an approximate 30 to 40 minute brisk walk along what is a predominantly a flat promenade. To sum up - In our opinion the finishing in our room lacked attention to detail (see attached pictures). All but one member of staff that we spoke to were friendly, helpful and professional and the hotel was kept very clean by the hard working members of the cleaning staff. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Don Pablo and despite some issues these were greatly out numbered by the many positives and we would consider returning to again in the future and would rate our stay as 4.5*.

Got here on the 17th October 2025 for a week. Staff were lovely and helpful when you needed help. The hotel is big, modern and very clean with a great location. We stayed in room 1242 on the second floor. Room is a great size for your stay sadly just an ok view. As we were over looking the car park, but only an issue if you looked down. Housekeep do a fantastic job keep the room nice and clean. The hotel is part of three hotels making up one big complex, given you a lot of choice. With more than one swimming pool and more than one restaurant at hand. There also a kids play area for the little ones. More than one bar here as well offering a nice selection of beers, wines even cocktails, a happy hour and cocktail of the week. Even though it is a big complex its esay to get about and they give you a map on check in. They give you one free pool towel if you wish to use the poolside and have not brought your own towel. This is free for 1st towel and only 1€ if you need a fresh one. You get free WiFi if you need to get on line and English TV if you need your soap fix. The restaurant is a great size with indoor and outdoor areas to eat in. Food was good, but was very much the same ever night so dose get a little bit boring. So overall I would happily stay here again and give it a 4 star plus

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, everything has been recently renovated and the views of the sea are just stunning. From the moment we arrived, the whole team made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. I want to especially highlight Ezequiel, who went above and beyond our expectations. He truly looked after us and made us feel at home. The experience exceeded all my expectations, and I honestly can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at the Sol Don Pablo in Torremolinos (part of the Meliá group) and it was absolutely stunning from start to finish. We had a Junior Executive Room with a private sunbathing terrace, which was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The hotel itself was immaculate, and the food was amazing — great variety and quality at every meal. We stayed half board and honestly couldn’t find a single fault. Every member of staff we met was friendly and professional, and the whole atmosphere was so relaxing. We enjoyed it so much that I’ve already booked to return in November! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect, stress-free getaway
