Spent two wonderful weeks here Dec 26 - Jan 9. Overall it was a great stay. We opted NOT to do Preferred club. I see the value for sure and next time likely we will but do not regret not doing it this time. Having travelled to Punta Cana 6x, I appreciated the staff here (friendlier than other resorts), beach was nice (they do their best with Sargassum), food was great if you are there for a week, can get kinda boring if they for 2+ weeks, 3 of the 5 À la Cartes were good / others were not BUT they were beautiful inside /staff were great / just the food wasn’t amazing. Entertainment was pretty good but nothing spectacular, loved the coffee shop. Beach was wonderful and where we spent 98% of our time - main pool is loud and more for socializing - I love a social life and came here on vacation to disconnect from everything so wasn’t into the pool scene. They play nice music at the pool and only half the day is Loud with deep bass music, other half is nice chill music. Main knock on this place is the locals who stand on the beach (remember the beaches in DR are public so they have a right to stand there) and ask absolutely everyone to join their or by from them a parasailing/snorkel/bananaboat/shopping excursion. Using these guys you might save $20-30USD. I say don’t support them and go through the resort cause you are more guaranteed safety and more trusted companies. While lying on the beach for two weeks I heard 3-4 families and couples arguing with this rogue sellers after they finished their excursions complaining of drunk boat drivers, poor conditions and safety. So ya be careful. Final thing - Sunrises are beautiful there / you do have to reserve your spot or beach’s chairs like all other resorts so get up early - 730am is fine / it is safe there and NEVER felt unsafe / love that it’s only 20-25 mins from airport / they do an AMAZING job for NewYearsEve!

This was my first time at a Secerts all inclusive. Overall the experience was great. Ramses are butler was amazing! Texting us everyday and checking in to make sure we were good or if we needed anything at all. He truly made this stay perfect for us with the extra little touches. The house cleaning crew was great. Always had fresh towels and a very clean room daily. Food was overall good. Only down side was at lunch time. The grill area had the same food daily we are use to all inclusive doing more at lunch at the pool area, food trucks, pizza or just mixing up the burger bar area with other items this was never the case unfortunately. The fitness center was terrible. Extremely small. Only 2 out of 5 treadmills worked. I’ve stayed at a holiday inn with a better workout room. Beaches very clean and nice!

Had an amazing experience at Secrets Royal Beach in December. The service was incredible - didn't have to get up to get a drink ever if you didn't want to. The food was great - a la cart restaurants were delicious, the buffet was consistently awesome and if you didn't feel like leaving your room, 24 hour room service with a ton of legit dishes on the menu was all included. All inclusive is legit at Secrets. All the staff we're welcoming and friendly, giving it a nice family vibe. Some of our favourites were Mendy, Lady, Yolendy (sorry if spelt wrong) and team at the bar right before the pool - they treated us like royalty and added a ton of fun to our day. Juldania in The Riveria (buffet) was lovely, she checked in on us daily and always asked for feedback - we enjoyed getting to know her during our stay. All the Riveria staff were great - always helpful, no wait for dishes to be taken or coffee to be refilled. Tons of options at the buffet, and if you didn't want to leave the pool/beach for lunch, you could just walk up to the snack bar/grill and grab something. The beach was well maintained, there was some seaweed on our last day but none all the days before - they had a big ol'tractor cleaning it up 2 or 3 times a day. The entertainment was also fun and the nightly shows were pretty well done. Mr. WooOWOoooow (Mr. Wow) was a great host and Julian/the other aquafit people/entertainers all made our trip more fun. The whole squad brought the energy every where they went.

We just finished our stay here. And OH MY GOODNESS! I highly recommend! I don’t have any complaints, from morning to night we never once weren’t enjoying ourselves! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect, if you wanted quiet you could find it, if you wanted a little bit more of fun, loud and energetic you can have that too! We loved the events staff! The whole stay we kept saying how we are definitely coming back! The staff here is EXCELLENTE! I must give a special shout out to Dionicio, Pio, and Aris, they worked every night our whole stay there at the showtime bar! They MADE our night every single night amazing, their service and smiles and laughs were all that we could ask for! We looked forward to seeing them in the evening for a few drinks! Their energy made even my husband (who doesn’t dance) dance! When we come back I hope to see them working, like I said they made our nights every single night! Also I guess if I could suggest anything the resort to do at night is maybe do Rihanna showtime instead of beyonce, the Beyoncé show was really well done but I do think as far as the crowd goes they may know more Rihanna songs (just a suggestion)!

Secrets Punta Cana was an amazing experience overall! We stayed for my birthday, and the service was truly the highlight — the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make me feel celebrated the entire trip. The food was very good. Like most all-inclusive resorts, the food isn’t the main attraction, but it was consistently enjoyable. I recommend doing the restaurants for dinner and the buffet for breakfast, which had plenty of variety to start the day. If you’re looking for fun island drinks, definitely get the coco locos! Also, be sure to check what shows are happening during your stay — they were a great way to wind down in the evenings. Overall, an excellent resort with outstanding service, and I would absolutely recommend it for a relaxing and special getaway.
