My wife and I stayed here on our vacation and upon arrival, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a suite from the Premium Pool View room that we had booked. Excited as we were, we quickly found out that the room faced an alley and the restaurant's kitchen exhaust. Opening the balcony door, we could only smell food. However, the suite was excellent and the bathroom was fabulous. As tired as we were, we decided to stay put and never open the balcony door. Overall, the hotel was good and staff was friendly and helpful. We were pleased to meet Mohammed, a wait staff at the restaurant. He made us welcome and took care of all our food and shisha needs. The breakfast buffet was huge. However, it was the same everyday. We quickly got bored of it. There is one issue that all guests should be aware of. Water in the room is limited. We learned it the hard way when in the first day after returning late to our room, we were informed that we were given our day's quota of free water (4×330ml) and we had to buy water at room service prices. Always, it was a pleasant stay. But if we do visit Marrakech again, we might explore other hotels.
MAJOR NW10 LONDON
We booked five rooms at the Savoy for a function, traveling from London and arranging our stay well in advance. From the moment we got off the plane, the trip was stressful. Locals harassed us constantly, pressuring us into taxis and begging for money at every corner. I personally witnessed some women openly offering sexual services for money, which added to an uncomfortable and aggressive atmosphere. The hotel itself was a nightmare from the start. The room we were given was not what we booked. It was outdated, and the toilet was terrible—you had to flush at least twice, and it leaked. I spoke with a manager, who called the Guest Services Manager, a tall lady, to assist. She promised to change our room and deliver a key, as I explained we were in a hurry for dinner plans. Nearly an hour passed with no update. When I called the front desk, I was told someone would provide a new key. Another 20 minutes passed, and still no one came. I went downstairs in person, and the Guest Services Manager appeared again but never apologized. We waited another 20 minutes, and finally got a new room that was small, smelly, and still below standard. During our stay, one of our party had an expensive designer jumper stolen from their room. Other guests also experienced broken promises and theft. I strongly advise using the hotel safe, as your belongings are not secure. Staff were unhelpful, service was poor, and overall professionalism was lacking. The hotel claims to be 5-star, but it’s closer to 3 or 4 stars. Prices for items like perfume are literally double what they cost in London, and food can be as expensive—or even more expensive—than in London. The country seems eager to appear European, but it is far from it, and much of the culture seems focused on extracting money from tourists. The only positive is the location—it’s in a nice area with good dining options, though very expensive. Overall, I would not go back. The combination of aggressive locals, harassment, poor hotel service, theft, and inflated prices makes this a very disappointing experience.

We’ve just had an excellent stay at the Savoy Le Grand during our trip to Marrakech. The location is superb being a short trip from the airport and close by to the medina and attractions while being in a quieter area. We received a free room upgrade to a suite and it was extremely spacious, equipped and clean. Staff at the hotel were very friendly, professional and welcoming. They couldn’t do enough for us. Facilities at the Savoy were excellent with a choice of pools both outdoors and inside. Food and drink was very good with my only slight complaint being the cost of soft drinks. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge choice from fresh fruit and yoghurts to continental style cheese, meat and breads to local delicacies like the delicious msemen. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable.

My overall experience at the hotel was pleasant. The property is very nice and well-maintained, and the hospitality of the staff truly stood out. At the restaurant, the breakfast barista Jihane was exceptionally lovely, always smiling and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere each morning. The waiter Karim was also outstanding; he was very respectful, attentive, and consistently helpful, not only to us but to all the guests we observed. Their professionalism and positive attitude made a great impression. However, I must express my disappointment regarding the beds. The bed in our first room was extremely uncomfortable, so we reported the issue and were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the bed in the second room was even worse. I woke up each morning with back pain, which has persisted even after our stay. This significantly affected the quality of our rest and overall comfort during our visit.I sincerely recommend that hotel management inspect and replace the beds to ensure a comfortable and restful experience for future guests. This improvement would truly match the high standard of service provided by the staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Savoy Le Grand Hotel Marrakech. The service was excellent, with friendly and professional staff always ready to help. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, and from the moment you walk in, the lobby smells amazing, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of choice and fresh, delicious options each morning. The spa treatments are also highly recommended – especially the massages. A special thanks to Ghislaine, who is truly exceptional at what she does! The only small downside is that rooms located near the pool can sometimes be a bit noisy. Aside from that, everything was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend Le Grand Savoy Hotel Marrakech!
