Alright where do I start I've stayed there for 7 nights and its my first time in DR. Service is great servers are really nice and helpful. Now!! We stayed on the family sideThe property itself isn't maintained well enought. Although the room were clean I felted very uneasy walking in the shower barefoot. The toilet wouldn't flushed for 2 whole days. The TV stopped working also. Bad experiences. Regarding the restaurant in my opinion believe me when I say only go eat at the buffet Hispniola every other restaurant are not good. In my opinion the cooks need more training or something isk what it is but dont waste you time. The 24/7 hr pub is a joke. This resort is crazy with mosquitoes. As they dont clean the ponds and pool for the fish its full or algae and mold as its the perfect place to breed mosquitoes. The property could have more potential. But they need to take care the small things.

What a disappointing experience from beginning to end. I honestly don't even know where to start. The first thing I noticed when I entered my room was that there was no way to lock the door from the inside. I have never stayed at a hotel where the room lacked an interior security lock. Knowing that hotel personnel could enter the room at any time without an additional lock made me feel extremely uneasy. Every night before going to bed, I would move furniture in front of the door because I was genuinely concerned that someone could enter while I was sleeping. I never felt safe during my stay, and that alone had a significant impact on my vacation. The customer service was also very disappointing. While the staff members were polite, they all appeared exhausted and unhappy. It was difficult to blame them because I repeatedly overheard conversations about being overworked and not receiving lunch breaks. The overall atmosphere suggested that employee morale was very low. One moment that particularly stood out to me was seeing a pregnant employee working at the towel station. She was assigned to an extremely hot room with no fan or visible ventilation. She looked completely exhausted, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. Seeing employees working under those conditions was just as upsetting as the issues I experienced as a guest. Unfortunately, the food was another major disappointment. The quality, flavor, and overall dining experience fell far below what I would expect in the Dominican Republic. Instead of looking forward to meals, they became just another part of an already frustrating vacation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst vacations I have ever taken. A hotel should make its guests feel comfortable, safe, and welcomed. Instead, I left feeling disappointed, uneasy, and convinced that significant improvements are needed for both guests and the employees who work there.

Stayed at the Princess Family Club for seven nights during Canadian March Break, traveling as a couple with our 18-month-old daughter. We booked through Trip Central and flew with Sunwing from Toronto Pearson. We loved this resort other than the service at the main buffet being absolutely awful and should be addressed by management. It's so bad that I put it at the beginning of my review so that they see this. The resort is about a 30-minute bus ride from the airport, with just one quick stop at another resort. What stood out right away is that the driveway to the lobby is the shortest we’ve ever seen but there were no concerns there. Our room was a swim-up on the family side, and it was fantastic—spacious, comfortable beds, and having the pool right outside the door was a dream. It was a shared pool with 13 other rooms on our side of the hotel block, but we rarely saw more than a couple of families at a time. Being on the east side of the hotel block, we got a bit of shade, which was perfect for our daughter as the sun can get quite hot during the day. Plus, we loved the beach toys and the robes and slippers that were provided in our room upon arrival. When it came to food, the à la carte restaurants were outstanding—especially Focaccia, the Italian spot. Highly recommend the pizza here. The Indian and teppanyaki restaurants were also top-notch. The service at these places was truly best in class—friendly, attentive, and really personal. The only downside was the main buffet, La Hispaniola —service there was consistently poor; we had to ask for high chairs, cutlery, and drinks repeatedly. I will say that it seemed like more of an inconvenience that we were asking for help (help as in coffee, water, cutlery, high chair). The only true interaction we had with a server at this buffet was when we had to take coffee mugs off of a freshly cleaned table beside us, the server immediately marched over and took them back then didn't replace them. In contrast, the buffet by the kids' pool (Mordisco) was a hidden gem—great service, quiet, and perfect for families, a much better choice. We also loved the coffee café—it was never too busy, even during March break, and the food trucks by the beach had some of the best bites—definitely go there for lunch. As for the pools, the kids’ pool was a highlight, with tons of slides—great for older kids and safe for toddlers. The larger beachside pool was lively, with a swim-up bar and lots of activities. And the beach itself was gorgeous—soft, cool sand, calm, sandy bottom water, though the waves could get a bit big, so keep an eye on little ones. Overall, this was a fantastic family getaway with a few minor service hiccups, but it was a truly memorable trip.

Great experience, would definitely go back. Rooms had gift for the kids, lots of activities, really good variety food that was delicious. (my daughter is a picky eater, and ate a lot). Free kids club with lots of activities where you can check in your kid and pick them up later, shout out to Crystal was awesome with my girl! Good beach where kids can play safe. They have "shuttle" that you can take all around the resort. Room service will go early in the morning if you plan to sleep in (my girls would wake up around 10am 11am) make sure to put the don't disturb out on the door. They go around several times during the day. The showers are big, comfortable to go in and give your kids a good shower with good preasure and without bumping into anything. Would definitely go back to this one!!! 20/10

Would love to give this resort a higher score because the location is so beautiful. They thought of everything from the entertainment, ice-cream truck at kid's pool and different foods options. However, I was caught off guard when the spa tried to scam me out of paying for services I didn't receive. I don't know how they didn't think I wasn't going to notice the extra $175 fee after paying at the spa $350 for my services. They attempted to added additional changes on my room and the front desk employee (Nes) seem to be in on it. Thankfully I had my receipt but the worst part was after Nes accused and tried to convince me that they were services I received he didn't even offer an apology once it was confirmed several mins later. When I called him out on it he just asked what did I want from him. Another thing, as a non Spanish person I felt the difference in service at times. The times when they were hospitable was when it benefited them and they wanted a tip. Also, avoid the "welcome package"! It is nothing more than them trying to sale a watered down version of their timeshare. They kept my family and I in the room for 3 hours with our crying kids would just wanted to do to the beach as promised one 90 mins had passed. They were super aggressive and took away time from our trip and was stressful. Lastly, there seems to be building up on the cracks of shower near the glass doors. So gross to look at and with the right cleaning it could be addressed. Rooms are too moist due to temperature regulations which can grow mold. We had to turn our AC all the way up because it is set too low. I will say, for every rude service/ experience... Mr. Edd serving us by the food truck buffet area made up for it 100%. His service was excellent and should train some of the other employees about giving everyone excellent service 100% of the time. This is important because we tipped every time we ate! I hate to share this feedback and probably wouldn't if Nes wasn't so so rude. All in all my kids had a great time. There are several great, great resorts that are kid centric and all inclusive. I will definitely be trying a new resort as our family is committed to traveling back to the DR frequently.
