We have travelled to 5-star all-inclusive resorts all around the world, including 4 others in Mexico. Paradisus Playa del Carmen went so far ABOVE AND BEYOND expectations!!! This was a true 5-star resort experience in every way! Firstly, the staff are PHENOMENAL! They are extremely professional, but also so kind, friendly, and genuinely interested in getting to know you. They also seemed really happy and relaxed! Lots of times they would joke around with us, join in a game at the pool, or take time to chat with us or teach us words in Spanish. Amelia, Deysi, and Maria at the coffee shop were amazing!! Gustavo in excursions was so helpful and gave us lots of good ideas for our next trip too. Marco in Lemon Fish had us cracking up laughing, and we learned new things about Mexican culture from him. There are too many shout-outs to name! Overall, we felt that the hotel and staff really cared about us, and they did far more than needed to make our stay outstanding!! Secondly, this hotel is HEAVEN for kids! There were so many little touches that were geared towards making kids happy, from the candy bar at the check in, to the hidden room with gaming stuff, the ice cream shop, and kids buffets at some of the restaurants… they absolutely loved it! It made our vacation so much smoother. This was also a resort where we felt very comfortable giving tweens more independence to go by themselves and have fun. They made a ton of new friends, loved the freedom, had an absolute blast, and the staff always had a kind eye out for them (ex. bringing back a lost phone to the front desk). The large and winding pools were a huge plus, as it accommodated different moods. Also, full adult access to La Perla meant we had the best of both worlds— family friendly on one side, adult chic on the other. The food was really good! All we can say is THANK YOU!! GRACIAS!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Paradisus! The resort amenities, service, and atmosphere were top-notch, but the staff truly made our vacation unforgettable. A massive shoutout to Darlene at the sports bar, she is hands-down the best! She took incredible care of us, brought amazing energy, and constantly hooked us up with the coolest, most delicious creative shots throughout our stay. She made every bar visit a total highlight of our trip. If you're staying here, make sure to find Darlene for a drink! We can't wait to come back!

Three members of my family, including my 10-month-old son, got severe food poisoning after eating at the hotel’s buffet. Watching your baby suffer while you’re completely helpless is something no parent should ever have to experience. I called the hotel three separate times begging for a doctor to come and help my wife. No one ever came. Not once. We were simply told to go to the doctor ourselves at the neighboring La Perla hotel. After one injection, we were charged $170. The hotel promised they would reimburse the medical bill. More than two months have passed. I have emailed them and contacted the hotel directly multiple times. Every response is the same: “Your case is being processed.” That’s just a polite way of saying, “We’re not going to do anything.” Apparently, their reputation is worth only $170. The buffet was full of flies. They were constantly flying around and landing on the food. After everything that happened, it’s impossible not to question the hygiene standards of this hotel. If your family gets sick, don’t expect compassion. Don’t expect urgency. Don’t expect anyone to care. Once they’ve taken your money, you’re on your own. This hotel completely failed my family when we needed help the most. There are countless places where your family can have a safe vacation. This is not one of them. I would never return, and I strongly encourage anyone who values their health and their children to stay somewhere else.

We had a wonderful stay at Paradisus Playa del Carmen. The resort is beautiful, the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. The quality of the food was also excellent. We enjoyed the variety of restaurants, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. What impressed us most was the customer service, especially whenever we had a question or a problem. The staff responded quickly, listened carefully, and handled everything professionally and kindly. It made us feel cared for and relaxed during the whole trip. The overall atmosphere, service, cleanliness, and food quality made this a very memorable vacation. We would happily return and definitely recommend Paradisus Cancun.

What an incredible resort! Highly recommend for any family's looking for an incredibly getaway with young kids. The food (especially dinners) were incredible, the staff everywhere went above and beyond, and the resort is stunning - both beautiful and spotless. It is well worth the short drive to get away from the insanity of Cancun to this much more relaxed and less crowded spot. The water park and kids club were both huge hits for the kids and we so appreciated all the mini-events throughout the day for kids as well as the awesome shows each night. The family concierge was a great option for us too. Our concierge Erika Hernandez was truly amazing in every way.
