We had an amazing stay at this all-inclusive resort. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the beautiful rooms and great food to the variety of activities and relaxing atmosphere. The entertainment staff was the highlight of our trip. They were welcoming, energetic, and made every day fun and memorable. Thank you to the entire resort team for such a wonderful experience. I stayed for five days with a friend, and we had an amazing experience from beginning to end. The service was truly 10/10. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring, which made us feel comfortable and happy throughout our stay. We especially want to mention Oscar, who treated us impeccably from the very moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and always made us feel valued and well taken care of. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so special. We had an amazing experience at Meliá Caribe Beach! A huge thank you to German, Perfecto,Kevin and the hostess at the Riviera Buffet. They were so kind and welcoming to our family, especially our kids, who started calling them their friends and wanted to eat there every day just to see them. The food was consistently delicious, and every meal made us feel truly welcome. We also want to thank Anyerina, our Level concierge, for taking such great care of us throughout our stay. She was always attentive, helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of, which made our vacation even more enjoyable. Thank you all for making our family feel so special. We can't wait to come back!

Disappointing Experience at Meliá Caribe Beach Resort Punta Cana I recently stayed at Meliá Caribe Beach Resort in Punta Cana from 7/30 to 8/02 with three other guests, and we booked two rooms for a total cost of approximately $2,599. I chose this resort with high expectations because of the Meliá name and the promise of a 5-star experience. The resort itself is beautiful, and the welcome upon arrival was warm, friendly, and gave us great expectations. We were told that our rooms would be cleaned daily and that the minibar would be replenished regularly. Unfortunately, the reality did not match those expectations. Our first room felt outdated and in need of attention. The air conditioning was not strong enough, the patio furniture was missing cushions, and there was no ashtray provided. The minibar was not stocked as promised, and we had to call to request service. One evening, I contacted room service because I had no drinks available in my room and requested water. Unfortunately, the water never arrived, leaving me with no choice but to drink faucet water. The most disappointing part of my stay was the feeling that the service was not equal for all guests. At times, I felt uncomfortable and as if I was being treated differently because of my skin color. This was extremely disappointing and not what I expected from a luxury resort. While at the beach, a security guard named Angel Aquino was rude and unprofessional when directing us because we were apparently not on the correct side of the beach for our level. The way the situation was handled made us feel unwelcome rather than valued guests. Considering the amount we paid, I expected respect and hospitality. I also experienced inconsistent service throughout the resort. The trolley repeatedly passed without stopping for me while stopping for other guests. At the bars, I waited up to 10 minutes for service while watching other guests being served ahead of me. Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience at Meliá Caribe Beach Resort. The property is beautiful, but a luxury hotel is defined by its service, attention, and how guests are treated. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect the standards expected from a 5-star resort. I have stayed at lower-rated hotels where I felt more welcomed and appreciated. I hope Meliá takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns, because every guest deserves to feel respected, valued, and welcomed during their vacation.

Our stay at the Meliá Caribe Beach Resort Punta Cana had both positive and disappointing aspects. Without a doubt, the hotel’s biggest strengths are its location and the beach. They are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. I would give 5 stars for that alone. I also want to recognize the housekeeping team. Our room was kept clean throughout our stay, and they did a very good job. I would give 4 stars for the cleanliness of the room. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the customer service and the dining experience. On several occasions, we felt like we had to repeatedly ask the waitstaff just to receive our drinks or food. The service was slow, inconsistent, and simply did not meet the expectations of a resort of this level. As for the food, it was also below our expectations. The quality and flavor were disappointing, making the overall dining experience one of the weakest parts of our vacation. Overall, I would recommend this resort for its beautiful property, amazing beach, and excellent location. However, if great customer service and good food are important parts of your vacation, this hotel still has a lot of room for improvement. Unfortunately, those shortcomings had a significant impact on our experience and left us with no desire to return.
