We recently stayed at this hotel and it absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. The entire property is filled with beautiful, photogenic spots, there are many Instagrammable locations around every corner. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional and friendly staff who consistently went out of their way to help us, even assisting in organizing a tour. We dined at both restaurants on site and enjoyed delicious food in spacious, comfortable settings. The location is perfect: it's just a calm and easy 10-15 minute walk to Karon Beach, with two 7-Eleven stores conveniently located along the way. Furthermore, the hotel's efficient transport service, with golf carts always available to drive you to any point within the property, added great convenience. We would give it a solid 10 out of 10 and will definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Phuket.

We had an incredible stay at Mandarava Resort, and it was a huge part of what made our trip to Thailand so special. Traveling with our 6-month-old daughter Luna could have been difficult, but the staff made everything effortless. Every single person we interacted with was warm, kind, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. The resort itself is beautiful, with multiple amazing pools and fantastic food. Breakfast and lunch were always highlights. A special thank you to Sam, who looked after breakfast and lunch service. He formed such a lovely bond with Luna, she would light up every time she saw him, and it meant so much to us. We’re also incredibly grateful to the concierge team, especially Fang and Sa, who went above and beyond. They helped organise everything we needed, and even arranged for our travel pram to be located at the airport and delivered to the hotel after we accidentally left it behind. A big thank you as well to Naey, our housekeeper, who kept our room spotless and was always thoughtful around Luna’s sleep schedule, happily coming back later when needed. The staff truly made this stay exceptional. We would highly recommend Mandarava Resort and would love to return in the future.

Our initial, less positive, observations were quickly addressed by the excellent professional, and caring manager who arranged a prompt room change to one more to our liking. The staff are unerringly cheerful and polite. The food is very good and the location is wonderful. The grounds are lush and tropical, beautifully well kept - and yes, as it's set on a hill side, it is steep and hilly but the shuttle drivers are always on hand to transport you to your door. Also big thanks to the on-site taxi firm and the wonderful "King" and his mum, the boss taxi lady!!

Stunning hotel in a quiet location on a hillside in a jungle style location. We were allocated a lovely room with a sea view and it was very quiet. The hotel grounds are immaculate and it was always easy to get a sunbed. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed an evening meal in the buffet restaurant and also the thai a la carte which were both very good. We had a few minor issues but I cannot tell you just how helpful the staff are and how hard they work to make your holiday experience as good as possible. The level of customer service was incredible and any issues were quickly forgotten. It was an easy walk to Karon and back and we had no issues with the walk back despite being in our 60's. There was always a tuc tuc available to take you to your room but we preferred to get our steps in.

We only had one day to experience Mandarava due to our busy schedule, but it was more than enough to realize how special this place is — largely thanks to Ging. I rarely leave reviews, but I genuinely wanted to share this. On our last day, we had to check out earlier than expected because we booked a last-minute tour. Even after we checked out, Ging kindly helped us arrange a shower reservation and assisted with storing and retrieving our luggage multiple times — all with the warmest attitude and not a single sign of inconvenience. Mandarava should be proud to have someone like Ging. As international travelers in a completely new environment, being taken care of — from charging a tablet to reserving a shower room to managing our luggage — made everything feel comfortable and welcoming. It was truly a wonderful experience that made our short stay memorable.
