We loved our stay at Majestic! The swimout rooms were fantastic, the beach was very nice and clean! Over all the resort was very nice and fun! Xiunel and Conde were amazing servers at the Mar House! They made the experience top notch and catered to our every ask recommending great dishes! The fried octopus bacon wrapped scallops and Caribbean Special were fantastic! The lemon sorbet was delicious! Xiunel has a special shot to finish your meal! El Toriendo was delicious and Jimmy was a great server recommending all the delicious delicious dishes to try! The table side guacamole and guava margaritas were the best! Our favorite bar tenders were Luis and Moises at the poolside/Cheers bar! Great drinks and smiles all day! Pao keeps the dance party going every night and makes it so fun!

Don’t overlook this place if you see negative reviews! My husband and I had a wonderful experience as this is our second time vacationing at the majestic elegance in Cancun. We have vacationed with the majestic brand for a total of 8 trips, even though we switch up going to other venues we always come back the majestic brand. Dining and drink service has been consistent with a 4 out of 5 star rating. The personalities and humbleness of their staff is a shining point, and a shout out to our amazing butler Andreas as well as some other staff who shined, Samuel, Johnson, Bo Derek, Valentine, Couich. Thank you to everyone who made the experience memorable. We will return because of your efforts!

My husband and I spent a week at this resort and it was fantastic. It has been a while since we were last at an all-inclusive resort and to be honest, we weren’t to sure what to expect. (The last all inclusive we were at was frankly a bit tacky.) But I can say that in every respect, our experience here was phenomenal! Without exception, the staff were amazing! Our butler Kenya was super responsive, as were each and every waiter and housekeeping staff member. From the minute we checked in, until our very last day, we had no complaints. The food in the restaurants ranged from ok (Bistro) to outstanding (steakhouse). The service was consistently outstanding and the resort location and the grounds were spectacular. We would definitely recommend the resort and we plan to return one day with our adult children.

We traveled with our family of 5 (My husband, myself and three teenagers, 18/16 ) and had a great experience at The majestic Elegance resort. Aside from the steakhouse and our horrendous experience with Alejandro, (which I cannot stress enough ) the steakhouse manager who refused to honor our New Year's Eve reservation., it would be a five-star review all the way. There are some rules, possibly too many rules for a family on vacation, that the resort expects guests to adhere to. For example, you need to bring proper shoes to enter all of the restaurants which is fine but not stated anywhere upon your booking or at the hotel itself, leaving multiple guests arguing at the entrance when they try to enter with sandals or open toe shoes, you can't leave your door to your room ajar even if it is for a family member. If you want them to restock your room fridge you have to call them. There is no convenient way to roam around the resort without having a phone and downloading the app to tell you the daily activities and shows which I felt was quite inconvenient And bothersome considering we were traveling with our three teenagers and one of the rules we wanted was to stay off of our devices. Unfortunately we had to have them everyday. I would have preferred something to be on the TV each morning or a calendar, map. Anything on paper like most resorts so we could navigate our plans of the day without using electronic devices. The only other negative is I felt that there should be larger family pools and pools that are ocean front. Unfortunately the family pools (2) were quite small, but also you can't see the ocean from the family pools at all. They're both facing the resort. The main activity pool is on the back side of an Infinity pool so your view is really a stone wall. The resort itself was stunning, all staff aside from Alejandro were phenomenal, gracious and very helpful. After our terrible experience at the steakhouse, the manager of The daily buffet, Paris, was excellent. He made a terrible situation a wonderful experience although we were unable to eat in any other restaurant. The food was excellent, rooms were clean and common spaces were luxurious. The nightly shows were very entertaining and it was great to experience something other than the typical. Michael Jackson show that every resort all over the Caribbean has. (They had it but they also had Queen which was a nice change) They had a casino night which was great as well as a WWF wrestling match which was also great The New Year's celebration was great too although.... I fail to understand why the majestic mirage has access to our smaller hotel at Elegance, but Elegance guests could not use the water park at mirage without spending additional funds. One of the things that was very important to our family was seaweed, I was happy that not only does the hotel manage the seaweed well, but it had the least amount of seaweed that I have seen in years anywhere in the Caribbean. Another oddly incredible thing was it was quite easy to get a pool chair everyday. I don't know that I've ever experienced that. All in all our experience was five out of five but I'm rating it a four-star based on my experience with steakhouse. Alejandro was the rudest employee that crossed our paths during our vacation, quite honestly could have ruined the rest of our trip. We were so upset. Aside from that, I highly recommend this resort.

Jimmy and Angelo served us and did a fantastic job. Excellent variety of dishes. Pretty authentic dishes. The pivot was very fresh. The restaurant was very clean. It isnlocated right off the main room at Majestic Elegance. Great menu of margaritas. I will be back before we go home without a doubt!
