After much research we found the Royal Pacific Resort to be the best value. With the room rate, tickets, express pass, walking distance to the park, and riverboat access this was a Great choice. Upon arrival we we're able to return our airport rental in the lobby and our room was upgraded to a better room with great view at no additional charge. Our room was clean, quiet, modern and the walk in shower was nice. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs throughout our stay. Their charter bus to Orlando International worth every dollar. We highly recommend the Royal Pacific and will definitely stay there again.

Great location, right across the river from the Universal Islands of Adventure (10min walk) and not too far from the Universal Studios Florida park down the waterway (with a security checkpoint that's far easier than from the general parking lots). They have a ferry, though the captain completely ignored us when we were trying to take it back in the afternoon... negative there was the only downside. They let you check in early in the day before your room is ready, get room keys for all listed occupants that double as your two-park (IoA and USF) express passes - lovely benefit. The extra cost - all about the express passes which you get to use on the day of check-in, throughout your stay, and on the check-out date to park close! Very helpful. Parking is $38 with tax (self parking) and can be attached to the room cards. And you also get early access to the parks (all three). Check-in ahead of time online and go to the second counter and you can grab your room pass/express cards faster. They'll text you when your room is ready. You can also check out that way in case you're in the park and forget to do it on the TV/at the front. Big props to Kellie for being super cheerful at the check-in despite the early hour and very quick with passes and answers. No free breakfast like at some other resorts but generally here for the park benefits for a lot of folks. Some good restaurants on the lower floor close to the pool and ferry exit.

The hotel was great! The place feels so nice, looks great inside and out. We booked rooms and got the fast passes for universal and the boat to and from the park was excellent and efficient! My only complaint and it’s a tiny one was we were in line early morning for about 45 minutes waiting to check in because they seemed so slow and only had 2 (sometimes 1 because they would walk away) checking people in.

Great experience staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. We took advantage of the text communication to set up dining reservations and make room requests. The hotel grounds are attractive and well kept and the rooms are clean and comfortable, if not especially luxurious. The value of staying at the Royal Pacific and receiving express pass is phenomenal. Water taxis to the parks are also a great amenity, as it allows you to bypass the security line at City Walk.

The location for getting to Universal Orlando & Studios parks was fantastic! Just a quick walk or boat ride away. The hotel options, restaurants, service, & staff were phenomenal. The rooms are nice. For a couple it was enough space, but an extended trip with more than 2-3 kids, you’d want to get - suite or 2 adjoining rooms. There’s great water pressure in the shower, solid furniture, the in room amenities were good.
