My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time here. We had an ocean facing suite with the butler service. Valentin and Junior were our butlers for the week and they were absolutely incredible, friendly, and attentive. Such great guys. Jean Carlos brought us breakfast every morning and was so full of energy and kind. He even took the time to write up and translate a few paragraphs talking about how much he enjoyed meeting us this week. My wife and I have been fortunate enough to visit many resorts around Mexico and the Caribbean, and this was our favorite so far by a lot… and the people here were just tremendous.

This was one of our best vacations ever! The staff was delightful, the rooms were super comfortable and the resort was beautiful! So relaxing and fun! Valentin and Junior were the best butlers. Maribel kept our room clean and always left the sweetest surprises. Augusto at the Star Prestige beach took excellent care of us. The staff in the Star Prestige made sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here as our first all inclusive and it did not disappoint! Although a little older, the grounds were immaculate! Our butlers Reynaldo and Cofé were amazing in helping us navigate the resort, getting us reservations and finding us wherever we were on the resort to just say hi and check in. There is something to do every night and I don’t think we walked anywhere without every employee we encountered saying hello. We had a great first experience and will definitely be back! The food was great, service was exceptional and the staff were so friendly. Thank you JOIA!

I had an amazing stay at Jóia Bávaro by Iberostar. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a relaxing atmosphere that really makes you unwind from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable, the food options are solid, and the beach/pool areas are exactly what you expect from a good Caribbean resort. But what truly stood out was the staff, especially Jose. He is incredibly polite, well-mannered, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your experience better. Every interaction with him was pleasant, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Employees like Jose are the reason guests feel welcome and cared for. Overall, highly recommended. I would definitely return.

My boyfriend and I stayed at JOIA Bávaro recently, and it was everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We weren’t celebrating anything special just wanted to unwind and this resort was perfect for that. Our butler, Denilo, was incredible. He was very attentive but never overbearing. He made sure all of our requests were met, and even went the extra mile to set up the tub for us and provide extra wine for a peaceful night in. His service truly made our stay feel personalized and effortless. We also want to give a special shout-out to Jasmine, our waiter most nights. She provided such warm and consistent service, and we really appreciated her kindness and attention to detail. As for the food, we were impressed overall. The steak and lobster dinner was my favorite, and the Dominican restaurant on site was delicious and authentic. The Japanese restaurant was okay, the food and service were decent but didn’t stand out as much as the others. Still, every other dining experience more than made up for it. The coffee shop deserves its own mention the Baileys frappe was my absolute favorite treat every morning! My boyfriend really enjoyed spending time in the cigar lounge, and the resort overall offered such a calm, luxurious atmosphere. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already talking about coming back. The resort, the hospitality, and the small personal touches made this trip unforgettable.
