Our honeymoon at Hyatt Zilara Cancun was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The hospitality was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel special. You can tell they truly care about their guests. The food exceeded our expectations, with plenty of delicious options at every meal, and the drinks were excellent. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, enjoying dinner, or spending time at the beach, the service was consistently outstanding. The entertainment team did an amazing job keeping the resort fun and lively without ever feeling overwhelming. There was always something to do, and every show and activity added to the experience. The beach was beautiful and well maintained, the pool was spotless, and the entire resort was incredibly clean. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping everything in top condition. Overall, Hyatt Zilara Cancun gave us the perfect honeymoon. Between the incredible service, delicious food and drinks, beautiful beach, fun entertainment, and immaculate property, we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, all-inclusive getaway.

Beautiful hotel! Lovely amenities, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous location. Had a wonderful week there with my two kids and a group of friends and their families. Enough activities to keep everyone occupied and also space to have down time. The food was average (a few good items but overall not the best, in my opinion)... I did appreciate that they provided halal food which matters to my family. I don't drink so can't comment on the drinks. Overall though, a fantastic experience, worth the price! Recommend!

We recently returned from an 8-night stay at Hyatt Zilara Cancun, our second visit to the property and our first since the renovation. We were thoroughly impressed. The updates are beautiful and give the resort an elevated, modern feel while still maintaining the relaxing atmosphere we loved during our first stay. The speakeasy is an especially stunning addition and quickly became one of our favorite spots. What truly sets this property apart, however, is its people. From arrival to departure, every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a memorable experience. A special shoutout goes to Martha Jiminez, who took care of our suite throughout our stay. She did a phenomenal job every single day and kept everything immaculate. We were also fortunate to have three butlers rotating throughout our stay—Rossy, Brandon, and Jorge. Each of them is an absolute gem. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality were exceptional. Hyatt should do everything possible to keep these individuals on staff before another luxury property recruits them away. The coffee shop became our most frequently visited stop each day. While most guests understandably rave about the coffee, the sandwiches are a hidden gem and not to be missed. Dining service was excellent across the board, with Ricardo at Pier 12 and Humberto at the Asian restaurant standing out among an already impressive team. Their attention to detail and friendly service elevated every meal. If I had any constructive feedback, it would be in two areas. First, the restaurant menus appear to have shifted noticeably toward seafood-focused offerings. While it's great to showcase fresh seafood, guests who don't enjoy seafood or who have shellfish allergies may find their options somewhat limited. Second, the nightly entertainment was inconsistent. The Friday White Party was fantastic and clearly very well planned, but several other evenings felt comparatively sparse. Overall, this was an outstanding stay, and the combination of the beautiful renovations, exceptional service, and relaxing atmosphere means we will absolutely return. Hyatt Zilara Cancun remains one of our favorite all-inclusive resorts, and this visit reinforced why we keep coming back.

The good - Great service, clean hotel and nice beach. They do a good job of cleaning the sargassum and the water color is amazing. The employees are very helpful and work hard with a smile. If you are looking to relax and do nothing the service and cleanliness is really nice. The bad - Not worth the price point. I normally don't complain about All-inclusive food but we purposely paid more to come here for an upscale dining experience and were disappointed. Not enough pool chairs for the number of guests. There are more Paid Loungers than free chairs. *Hotel is constantly trying to upsell, more than any other hotel I have stayed (Loungers, Bottles of wine, Massages, Tomahawk Steak, bottle service, access to private sports bar room needs additional charge. The Flow is odd, you have to walk very far to get down to the beach and one of the gates is closed 70% of the day on the left side. Also, the public restrooms are limited and not close the areas you would expect. Entertainment is ok, but limited to specific hours and the best shows are at 8PM when most people are still finishing dinner.

Hyatt Zilara Cancun Review Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this resort. Here are the highlights and a few areas that could be improved. Positives: * Exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind, friendly, and eager to help. * Spacious, very comfortable rooms with excellent beds that made for a great night’s sleep. * A stunning, luxurious lobby where a pianist performs each evening, creating a beautiful atmosphere. * Excellent nightly entertainment, including incredible Cirque du Soleil-style acrobatic performances and some very talented musicians. * Very good food overall, especially at Spices, which serves outstanding breakfasts and lunches. * A fantastic coffee bar with excellent cappuccinos and espresso. * One of the best hotel gyms we’ve experienced—well-equipped and spacious. * A beautiful, very large pool with plenty of room to swim and relax. Negatives: * There are not enough beach chairs. The resort encourages guests to rent expensive cabanas, yet many of those cabanas remain unoccupied while guests struggle to find regular loungers. * There were quite a few heavily intoxicated guests around the pool throughout the day, and the noise level could become excessive. * Upon check-in, there was a fairly aggressive sales pitch for tours and other extras, which wasn’t the most welcoming way to begin our vacation. Despite these drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The outstanding staff, comfortable accommodations, excellent food, and beautiful facilities made this a memorable vacation.
