We had a great time at the resort. The part that stuck with me most was the staff. It felt like everyone was family. I didn’t see the resort prior to the renovation but it was fantastic. It was comfortable and not stuffy or pretentious. Eat at Pier 12, especially breakfast. Skip the buffet for breakfast. Air by the pool and during lunch, use a to go box to make a light lunch. The Mexican restaurant was gorgeous and not like any all inclusive I’ve seen before. The food was unique at each location and NOT the same thing over and over but called something different. Sandy is a part of the activities team. She is bright, fun, energy filled but not obnoxious. She gave the vibe of truly loving her job. The pool was a little warmer than desired but definitely didn’t sway us away. Nature was grumpy. The sorgassum seaweed was in full force. Wished they cleaned it a little better. We couldn’t access the water. You could go in but I wasn’t going to walk through it. Overall I’d totally recommend the stay. Food was great. Drink options were very good. (Patron, Titos, Buffalo Trace, Bombay Sapphire, etc)

The Zilara had been beautifully remodeled. Every room has modern updates and an ocean view. The service and food are truly spectacular. There's a new Italian themed restaurant, along with the buffet, Mediterranean, Asian, and Mexican restaurants that were here prior to the remodel. If you enjoy fresh seafood, you'll love it here. Everyone is super accommodating of any special requests and dietary requests. The pool is lovely and large with great views of the ocean. I loved the Zilara pre remodel and love it even more after the remodel.

Best resort in Cancun! The staff treat you like royalty. The food and drinks are 5 star! There is something for every taste. The pool is fun and relaxing - with daily activities. I’ve been coming here since 2014 and the new renovations are absolutely beautiful!

By far the best hotel i have ever stayed at. I dont have words that could explain the way the staff treats their guests here. This place sets the bar for how all companies should treat their customers/guests. The rooms are spacious and modern. There is a jacuzzi on every balcony of every room amd the view from the ocean side is a site that will take your breath away. There is at least 3 legacy pools. Our room was the swim up ocean side suite and had our own private legacy pool. There are several restaurant options from business casual to a 7 course formal dinner. Each restaurant has its private chefs serving some impressive dishes that I still think about often. Their ice cream is to die for. Flavors like cheese cream with blackberry- soooooo good! The atmosphere is relaxing and serene. Its a beautiful place and you get treated like royalty. Its very safe and you are in some of the safest and most trusted hands in cancun at this all inclusive resort . They provide a life changing, unforgettable experience, that I will cherish indefinitely.

Wonderful service and relaxing stay, but food fell short of past Hyatt experiences This was not my first stay at Hyatt Zilara Cancun, and my original visit in 2019 is actually what started my loyalty to Hyatt. I am currently a World of Hyatt Discoverist member, and after such a great first experience at Zilara, we chose Hyatt Ziva for our vow renewal in 2022. Because of that, I was really excited to return. The biggest thing I want to emphasize is that the staff here is incredible. Any disappointment I had was not because of the people working at this resort. Eddie reached out prior to our arrival as our concierge and helped us coordinate spa services and a late checkout, which made everything easy before we even arrived. Luis helped us during check-in on the World of Hyatt side and did a great job explaining the updates to the property and helping us get settled. Limo at the pool and Susana and Mireya in the spa were phenomenal and provided excellent customer service! The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Our fifth-floor corner room was spacious and comfortable, the bed and pillows were amazing, and the bathroom/shower were great. The spa experience was also one of the highlights of our trip. Where this stay fell short was the food. For an all-inclusive resort, dining is a huge part of the overall experience and value. We had such great memories of the food from our 2019 visit, especially Pelicanos, but unfortunately the quality and options did not feel the same this time. While restaurant service was consistently excellent, most meals just didn’t meet the expectations we had from previous Hyatt all-inclusive experiences. Overall, this is still a beautiful resort with outstanding employees and a very relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for a quiet adults-only getaway with wonderful service, you can absolutely enjoy your stay here. For us, because food is such a major part of choosing an all-inclusive, it left the experience feeling good but not quite the unforgettable Hyatt experience we remembered.
