Went for our annual girls trip. Our experience was amazing! All the staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely cared about everyone having a great time. The resort is beautiful, service was superb, entertainment was amazing, and the entertainment team was energetic, friendly and welcoming! We absolutely loved Aranza and Aaron! So many fun activities going on there was really no need to leave the resort. We also enjoyed some amazing massages and facials in the spa. Miley in the spa was top notch! Nothing but great things to say about this resort.

The resort is absolutely beautiful and so well kept. Our room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the main pool. Check in and out with sweet Yadina was welcoming. The staff at the pool- so friendly and accommodating. Francisco made it a point to greet us by name and with a smile each day. Manuel and Rodolfo took such great care of us poolside. Polux was so genuine and kind, these guys left a lasting impression! We personally found the food lacking, could definitely use some improvement. Overall, a beautiful resort to spend a wonderful vacation.

I had a wonderful experience at Hyatt Vivid PDC! My wife and I decided to go to Playa Del Carmen last minute and we are so lucky to lucked into choosing the Hyatt Vivid. The best part of the resort is its location. As many other reviewers have mentioned, you are steps away from the beach and 1 block (1 min walk) away from 5th avenue. Every restaurant that we went to were within a 15 min walk from the hotel and it always felt safe. It took us about 50 min to get from Cancun airport to the door of the Hyatt. There were some concerns when I found out that there was a change from the Hilton to the Hyatt as service levels might have changed. However, the service during my stay was excellent. Everyone was smiling and super friendly. The team at the main entrance and the check-in were remarkable in making you feel welcomed when you first arrive and when you come back to the hotel everyday. When the restaurant gets busy, you do see a lapse in attentiveness. Another thing that I found annoying is that I was approached twice by people claiming to work at the Hyatt when I was at 5th ave. They were trying to get me to visit their stores. Just ignore them. The room is nice and comfortable. It was odd in the beginning to have a giant hot tub next to the beds but it was also quite convenient and we certainly used it every day. The AC was able to keep up with the outside heat and it is wonderful to come back to a chill room after walking around outside. The amenities were great with the mini fridge being refilled everyday with water, soda, and beer. Dining options are plentiful with multiple cuisine types. Since it was low season, not all the restaurants were opened. The food is good especially the fried fish at Pelicanos. However, it also felt like a loss if we did not try several of the wonderful restaurants in Playa. The breakfast buffet was probably one of the highlights for me and I would definitely not skip it! I would absolutely return to stay at the Hyatt Vivid. Its location cannot be beat!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Hyatt in Playa del Carmen. The property is beautiful—clean, modern, and perfectly maintained from top to bottom. The staff went above and beyond for us the entire time, always friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The weather was amazing, the views were incredible, and you just can’t beat the location. Being so close to 5th Avenue made it easy to walk to great restaurants, shops, and all the energy Playa has to offer. We absolutely love Playa del Carmen—there’s just so much to do, from relaxing beaches to unforgettable experiences like Xcaret and everything else the area has to offer. Highly recommend this resort for anyone wanting the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and adventure. 🌴☀️❤️

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Hyatt Vivid in Playa del Carmen. The staff were off the charts great, the expirence was so incredible. I will definitely be going back. Head chef Aldo Vargas, should have a Michelin star, Mario at La Casona amazing service. Eric and Pollio at the pool made those days great (Cabana nachos and tequila were so good). Ernesto, Javier and Mario at The Spice great service ( always great breakfast). The bartender that was giving me Spanish lessons @ the lobby bar. The happiness of every employee that you pass around resort. #familia
