We’ve stayed at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress multiple times, and it never fails to feel like our home away from home. There’s always something fun for the whole family, whether it’s biking, kayaking, basketball, mini golf, or just relaxing by the amazing pools. And we absolutely love visiting Merlot the parrot! 🦜 ❤️ What truly makes this hotel special is the people. Calvin at the front desk always greets us with a smile, and Ouissam, Daslila, and Aicha at the Lakehouse Restaurant treat us like family. Every interaction feels personal and genuine, and they go out of their way to make every stay unforgettable. On top of that, the location is perfect, just minutes from the Disney parks, making it so convenient for family adventures. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place we love coming back to, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Great stay! From the very start to the very end, every employee was happy, smiling and on it! The person who answers the text line was FIRE and so fast and helpful! The resort is beautiful, with the pools and ample chairs and shade. The grounds are spotless and inviting. The breakfast area is clean and easy to get around and the staff members there are so friendly and helpful as well. They even remembered me when I came in for breakfast after the first day. I wasn't there for the "parks" but many were and it seemed like there was a shuttle to/from the parks and everyone had a great time.

I can honestly say I truly do not believe the stay warrants their high cost. I utilized my Cap One travel to book it and I was pretty ecstatic to check this hotel out. To start with the good, the pool with the grotto was very nice the gym was clean, two hot tubs, lots of lounging areas and while insanely expensive they had a lot of amenities like a store, bar and 3 restaurants. So let's talk about the bad, if im paying premium dollar for a stay in Orlando I expect everything to be perfect or dam near perfect. The rooms were truly underwhelming very very basic, the TV said it had Chrome TV so you could stream your own subscription, however it was not connected and it took forever for a tech to show up. Also, the preferred way to communicate is over text and man it feels like they dont even acknowledge you for pretty lengthy time periods. My son accidentally spilled his water bottled in the middle of the bed, so to have consideration for tge mattress I removed all the items off, I texted the front staff if someone could please change out the bed sheets.. crickets and then a very snarky older guy who didnt speak much English and basically made it seem like "thats your problem", he didnt even bring everything like I asked for. The charge a million different fees to include self parking which is like $40 bucks a day, then there's additional resort fees per night, which is wild because they charge extra to deliver your food on top of tip. The food was very very mediocre and even though there are 3 supposed eateries you can only order from the lake house which was again expensive and very underwhelming. I paid almost 40 bucks for a few tiny empanadas that tasted like they were from a box. The bathroom had broken and empty shampoo conditioner bottles I also had to call same cranky old dude to come replace (i could feel the hate that I was bothering him at his job). I finally had enough me ans tge wife agreed to check out early, to add insult to injury they were going to charge extra for leaving a day early even though I prepaid for my stay.. I wasnt even asking for a refund lol. There was even a bogus movie charge that they supposedly did me the favor of not charging me for.. I dont even know how I barely got to use the TV. Also, room service was slacking after my bed sheets debacle I though well tomorrow room service will take care of this.. nope never did. Again if your charging premium prices I expect premium service, honestly ill never stay at this or any Hyatt again. I wish I would have just stayed at the Rosen across the street ive stayed there various times and its always been very pleasant. My opinion not worth the money, I told management my story and all they offered was to not charge me a $50 dollar resort fee for a day and not charge me the movie that I didnt order lol oh and the early check out fee.. WILD!! Never again, you can stay here if you want but this is a last for me. (Im not even done with everything i had to say but i already wrote a book here lol). Nice place way too pricey for what it is.

This resort is beautiful! The hospitality is incredible. Krystal -the events manager was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make our stay special! Chance -our pool side bartender/server was so friendly and made great drinks! The check in associate Gavin was very accommodating and friendly. The staff was kind and helpful. It was great. I highly recommend this beautiful place for your getaway!

hands down my favorite property in the US. my parents and i first stayed here when we went to disney world when i was 6, and 20 years later im still coming back as an adult. the property feels so thoughtfully designed and it truly has a resort feel. the cave pools surrounded by greenery with the restaurant nesting on top is just chefs kiss. not to mention Lake Windsong and its little beach right behind the pools. the included activities are endless - bike riding, rock climbing, ping pong, canoeing/paddle boating on the lake, mini golf, basketball and pickleball courts, tetherball, an arcade, fire pits, so much!! the staff is always friendly and the poolside food and drinks are great. there’s also a fitness center in the pool caves. the only thing i’m sad about is the removal of the pool bridge and the big slide. i’m not sure if the bridge was removed temporarily or permanently. oh and the parrots in the lobby!! Lakehouse restaurant is gorgeous too and the food there is good. they have complimentary shuttles to universal and disney parks! i seriously love this place and can’t wait to keep coming back
