Our experience at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived until the day we left. We stayed in the Hawaii building, and I highly recommend it. The service was exceptional, and the included food and beverages were a fantastic perk that made the stay even more enjoyable and well worth the extra cost. The location is incredibly convenient, and the resort truly makes you feel as though you've been transported to Hawaii. The atmosphere, landscaping, and overall ambiance are beautiful and relaxing. One of the highlights for our family was the evening activities by the pool. The entertainment was fantastic for the kids, and the pool itself was wonderful for both children and adults. We also spent many hours enjoying the sandy beach area, which became one of our favorite spots to relax and unwind. In fact, we probably spent more time enjoying the resort than we did in the parks! That speaks volumes about how much our entire family loved the Polynesian. It was the perfect combination of fun, relaxation, convenience, and Disney magic. We can't wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! We truly felt like we had been transported to Hawaii. The bungalows are extremely quiet and peaceful - it honestly felt like we were out there all by ourselves. The views are incredible, especially being able to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the bungalow while listening to the music over the speakers. Watching the Electrical Water Pageant from our bungalow was another highlight! The staff was always so friendly and welcoming, and we loved hearing “Aloha!” throughout our stay. The private dipping pool was perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. It is a bit of a walk to the TTC, main building, and restaurants, and that walk can definitely be a little inconvenient when it’s raining. We also wish there was an ice and drink station closer to the bungalows. We felt the bus transportation could be better as well, with deluxe resorts having buses dedicated to their own resort rather than sharing stops. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

One of our upmost favorite magical experiences within our entire family vacations. Truly we didn’t want to leave our cousins! Lawrence and his cast member along side the cafe staff were very pleasurable. Even when we arrived, the lobby cast members and front desk were so lovely and even gave us a tour of the property. The room was spotless and roomy and accommodated our family’s needs as well as felt cozy. The hotel was quiet yet managed to let families be families. Everyone was so willing to help and was so calm and happy. I absolutely loved the decor and all the Disney touches…. Truly I was inspired to decorate my place! 5 Stars no doubt! What a great view too!! And convenient monorail drop hope on and drop off!

We stayed in the Hawaii building which is club level service. We used to stay here back in the day when our kids were young. So convenient. Kids had some freedom to go get breakfast and snacks by themselves. It was wonderful. It went downhill a little when Chef Dick left and we started trying other places. We are now bringing grandkids so decided to try it again. It is still very convenient and breakfast is improved with a few more protein choices! Love taking the boat the MK. Overall a nice experience. I do miss turn down service. Many club levels at upscale large hotel chains still do a turn down service. I also wish they stated food service hours were adhered to. We tried to get back by 10 several nights in order to get iced tea (it was HOT this trip) and maybe a bite or two of dessert. Disappointing when the offerings are gone or being taken up when you get back before 10. "We're closing" just isn't what you want to hear at 9:40 when you ask for tea. 🤷🏻‍♀️Also - if you want laundry done you need to go to front desk and ask. No indication in the room of how to send it out. Just my 2 cents. I am sure we will be back. But next time I think k we have decided to try the Contemporary club and see how it fares! Mahalo.

We selected the Polynesian for our stay this year based on the location to the parks and transport and the large amounts of positive reviews. I’ve stayed at WDW resorts over 20 visits at several of the resorts. This is the first time we had an issue and it was not resolved satisfactorily. We were given a room for early check in that had a filthy fridge, fifth sleeper with several stains including one that appeared to be blood, and a dirty bench seat by the bed. I called initially to have help with the fridge, ultimately no one came to clean it. We requested a new clean room at the desk and were given a second room, no offer of assistance moving luggage. The second room fifth sleeper had an even larger mystery stain on it. I called and waited 40 minutes for resolution while being told to sit and wait in the room. The housekeeping manager arrived and argued the “cause” of the stain stating it was water. I told him it’s not acceptable for my child to sleep there and he then noted that “you know every time you move rooms we have to clean them”. He spent several minutes out in the hallway and at my request had what I thought was the manager meet me at a third room. The third room had a much smaller stain on the bed which the manager told me they can clean. I asked why the room was not cleaned in the first place if it’s cleanable. The manager was not willing to hear about my experience up to date and telling me that he didn’t know what happened but cut me off each time I tried to explain why I was upset and refused to review my photos of the rooms. Ultimately I agreed to stay in the third room if they cleaned and sanitized the bed which they were able to do. The general manager had called my room and left a voicemail at the room the first day but left no way to contact her and never reached back out. Later, after emailing customer service, upon complaining I was told the new clean rooms were “accommodations” because I could have stayed in the room and allowed them to clean them. Blame was again placed on me for the staff having to clean rooms I had gone into (even though they were dirty). Overall for the price and attitude of the staff to belittle me and make it my fault for wanting a clean room I would never recommend the stay here. We spent the entire trip regretting our resort choice. I paid $600 a night for this stay and experienced a filthy resort and not deluxe or even basic treatment. No one should be expected to check into a dirty room, bring in their belongings and then wait for it to be cleaned. No one should be made to feel bad for wanting their child to sleep on a clean bed. Disney needs to reconsider their price point for this hotel as it falls significantly behind that of all of their other resorts in both cleanliness and service.
