Our experience at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived until the day we left. We stayed in the Hawaii building, and I highly recommend it. The service was exceptional, and the included food and beverages were a fantastic perk that made the stay even more enjoyable and well worth the extra cost. The location is incredibly convenient, and the resort truly makes you feel as though you've been transported to Hawaii. The atmosphere, landscaping, and overall ambiance are beautiful and relaxing. One of the highlights for our family was the evening activities by the pool. The entertainment was fantastic for the kids, and the pool itself was wonderful for both children and adults. We also spent many hours enjoying the sandy beach area, which became one of our favorite spots to relax and unwind. In fact, we probably spent more time enjoying the resort than we did in the parks! That speaks volumes about how much our entire family loved the Polynesian. It was the perfect combination of fun, relaxation, convenience, and Disney magic. We can't wait to return.

One of our upmost favorite magical experiences within our entire family vacations. Truly we didn’t want to leave our cousins! Lawrence and his cast member along side the cafe staff were very pleasurable. Even when we arrived, the lobby cast members and front desk were so lovely and even gave us a tour of the property. The room was spotless and roomy and accommodated our family’s needs as well as felt cozy. The hotel was quiet yet managed to let families be families. Everyone was so willing to help and was so calm and happy. I absolutely loved the decor and all the Disney touches…. Truly I was inspired to decorate my place! 5 Stars no doubt! What a great view too!! And convenient monorail drop hope on and drop off!

We stayed in the Hawaii building which is club level service. We used to stay here back in the day when our kids were young. So convenient. Kids had some freedom to go get breakfast and snacks by themselves. It was wonderful. It went downhill a little when Chef Dick left and we started trying other places. We are now bringing grandkids so decided to try it again. It is still very convenient and breakfast is improved with a few more protein choices! Love taking the boat the MK. Overall a nice experience. I do miss turn down service. Many club levels at upscale large hotel chains still do a turn down service. I also wish they stated food service hours were adhered to. We tried to get back by 10 several nights in order to get iced tea (it was HOT this trip) and maybe a bite or two of dessert. Disappointing when the offerings are gone or being taken up when you get back before 10. "We're closing" just isn't what you want to hear at 9:40 when you ask for tea. 🤷🏻‍♀️Also - if you want laundry done you need to go to front desk and ask. No indication in the room of how to send it out. Just my 2 cents. I am sure we will be back. But next time I think k we have decided to try the Contemporary club and see how it fares! Mahalo.

Honestly, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is one of the most beautiful and iconic Disney resorts I’ve stayed at. The tropical atmosphere feels so relaxing and unique, especially at night with the music, tiki torches, and views of Magic Kingdom. Watching the fireworks from the beach was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole experience. The location is amazing since you have easy access to the monorail and can get to Magic Kingdom very quickly. The resort itself feels very lively and magical, and places like Trader Sam’s and Ohana definitely make the experience even better. That being said, I do understand why some people say it’s overpriced. The rooms are nice, but for the amount of money you pay, it doesn’t always feel like true luxury. The resort can also get very crowded because so many visitors come there even if they aren’t staying at the hotel. Overall, I still loved the experience because the atmosphere is something very special and hard to find anywhere else. If you care about Disney magic, vibes, and location, it’s absolutely worth experiencing at least once.

Our stay at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort was absolutely wonderful, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Before our trip, I used the online check-in feature and submitted a few room requests. We arrived well before check-in because we wanted to take advantage of the complimentary water park day and start enjoying the resort amenities. I wasn’t expecting much since I knew room requests aren’t guaranteed, but the front desk Cast Member, Charisma, truly made magic happen. She helped us secure a room that was even better than I had hoped for. It honestly felt like a little bit of pixie dust (IYKYK)! Thank you, Charisma, for starting our vacation off perfectly. We stayed in the Fiji longhouse, and it was exactly where we had hoped to be. While it was a short walk from the Great Ceremonial House, the location was perfect, convenient to both the new Island Tower pool and the Lava Pool. We also found the walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center to be only about 10–15 minutes, which was very manageable. Even with the current scaffolding around the Great Ceremonial House, the resort was still just as beautiful and immersive. Watching Happily Ever After from the pool and beach each evening was absolutely breathtaking, and being able to enjoy the fireworks every night was such a special bonus. The only downside, if I had to mention one, is that the resort can become quite crowded. Because it’s such a popular destination with fantastic restaurants, bars, and monorail access, many guests who aren’t staying at the resort come to dine, explore, or watch the fireworks from the beach. For us, it was really only noticeable during our resort days or when we came back for a midday break. Otherwise, it didn’t impact our stay. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again while my children are still young. They were obsessed with the pools and the tropical atmosphere, and I loved how easy it was to get to Magic Kingdom with a double stroller thanks to the monorail. The convenience, the atmosphere, and the incredible Cast Members made this one of our favorite Disney resort stays.
