Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando

Our recent stay at Hard Rock Hotel was awesome! We had a deluxe 2-queen room and it was spacious and comfortable for our group of 3 adults/2 kids. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. Our server at The Kitchen was wonderful - helpful, friendly and entertaining. The boat to the parks (and bus to Epic Universe) was very convenient and the unlimited express passes were a game changer in getting on all our favorite rides. If anything additional was needed (i.e. fresh towels) utilizing the text communication was very convenient and response was very timely. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed one night to take advantage of the 2 days of express passes, and that alone was worth the nightly rate! The beds are so so comfortable. I had an amazing sleep! The Marketplace was tasty and manageable (not too big or overwhelming). Our pizza we ordered was delicious. At checkin, the front desk was kind and welcoming and gave us our room several hours early. Thank you! But I didnt receive and info about dining, activites or a map. This provided some frustration during our stay because I think the hotel is a little confusing to navigate. The parking is separated from the main building by a large set of stairs, and I never saw an elevator to get to it. Getting the luggage inside as a single adult with 2 kids was overwhelming. Also, I was not prepared for how long the room hallways were! I got lost getting to my room because I couldn’t believe I was still going the right way. Overall, Id consider a stay here again, but I would definitely ask more questions at the front desk to make sure I knew how to get around!

Overall, had a great experience at this hotel. All my interactions with the staff from the front desk to the concierge to housekeeping were excellent. Rooms are well kept and clean. I left my keys in the room safe and didn't realize it until I was boarding my flight and they were able to find and ship them back. Would definitely stay there again next time we go to Universal Studios.

The convenience of staying here is worth it. Early entry to the parks, free shuttles to epic every 20 minutes, 5 minute walk from citywalk, AND free fast passes for universal studios and islands of adventure. I didn't drive my car anywhere for the 3 days I was here, I just ate the unique food at the parks and at the pool bar. Definitely gave me a lot of ease of mind and a very relaxing trip.

As someone who travels for work and takes the family on trips 5/6 trips a year, this place stands out. The location is amazing. A short walk or water taxi ride to CityWalk and two Universal theme parks, it couldn’t be better. All of the on site amenities are outstanding. Live music, great food, but still quiet and restful places to relax, there is something for everyone. The staff is phenomenal. Gustavo helped us with our bags out of the Uber, Cat at the front desk made our complicated reservations a breeze. Spending a day by the pool, Britt, our pool waitress, was friendly, offered great suggestions, our drinks never ran dry and she even made sue our kids had drinks and snacks too. One evening after a few park days, my daughter had a fever, so I went to the valet stand hoping for a direction to catch an Uber for the needed supplies. Orlando, hearing my daughter wasn’t feeling well, offered to personally drive me to a pharmacy, wait for me, and get me back to the hotel. I saw him the next morning, he even asked how she was doing. We saw Cat (off work) at a park, she recognized us and asked us if we were having a great time. This staff makes this hotel a treat and feels like home without being over bearing. Not to mention the park perks associated with this hotel, it’s well worth a visit. Book an extra day (or two) to relax and enjoy the pool and amenities. You’ll be happy you did.
