Overall, it was a nice hotel, but it was the first all-inclusive hotel I have visited where I had to queue for almost everything, including the restaurant, bars, and reception. I only had eggs for breakfast twice because the queue was always at least 15 minutes long. The food was average, there was plenty of choice and I was never hungry, but I found myself eating very similar food most evenings. Breakfast was much better. The meat was not great, but the paella and seafood were really good. The service was among the worst I have experienced. That said, the staff in the main restaurant were excellent. Benito at breakfast and Nuna at dinner were both amazing and provided outstanding service. Regarding the excursions I booked through the hotel, the boat party with snorkelling was disappointing and not worth the time or money. The trip started almost an hour late, and the snorkelling experience was poor. In contrast, the full-day trip to Saona and Catalina was excellent, and I would highly recommend it. Communication was sometimes difficult because not many people spoke English. Additionally, the seaweed on the beach was only cleaned twice during my stay, as far as I could tell.

The place is beautiful.!!! The staffing upfront did not make us feel welcome. At 1st we kinda had to figure out on our own. Then we met Javier, he welcomed us, set us up with our daily restaurants reception. Very nice attentive man. He daily checked in with us and offered assistance with what we needed. The restaurants to us were not the best. Very few people from the restaurant crews were attentive. Most of them were walking around with long faces. Once we came across a pleasant waitress/waiter we would go to their section all the time. Unfortunately I didn’t get names. Food was decent. One thing I loved was the mangos in the fruit salad. Let move on to the Bars. JOSE LUIS R. Thank you so much for your great service. Not only does he make exclusive drinks but he makes you feel like we have known each other for a long time. That was my husband’s go to bar EVERYDAY. Leaving the best for last. My lady, my lady, MY LADY. ELIZABETH from the Spa. She was the absolute most amazing beautiful person. She is the type of person we would expect to welcome us as we walk in the hotel to greet us. She took care of us in so many ways. Very loving person, we even adopted her as our Tia! Now let me tell you about her massage. Omg definitely 10 of 10. She gave a massage to both my husband and I. The massage was amazing. Relaxing, calming, helped relieving all stress from routine work. We stayed at the Grand Bavaro Princess for 7 days. It was our first time trying an all-inclusive resort, and this resort has set a very high standard for us! Firstly, the resort is a short drive from the airport, making it easily accessible. We flew in from Canada, and the check-in process went very smoothly. Our first impression was that the resort is extremely well-maintained, and the staff are very friendly. Also, the food was delicious. There are two buffets to try, and the quality of the meals is spectacular. The resort also has several restaurants available to book, which adds greater variety beyond the buffet menu. Guest Services and the front desk are always willing to help, providing great insight into how to make your trip even smoother! Lastly, there are so many excursions available to try, and the beach is absolutely beautiful! There are several pools around the resort as well. We tried parasailing at the resort, which was a fun experience. Overall, I highly recommend this resort!

We just got back from our 1st time at this resort. Overall we had a great time, the weather was very hot but it's summer. We enjoyed our location and we chose for the upgraded price for the. Platinum Club. Was much more quiet, we liked that. The rooms were clean although had mosquitoes that would not go away. We brought our own bug spray which worked ok. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The reason for the 4 star and not 5, the alcohol selection was underwhelming. I'm a tequila guy and what they had was not so good. Also with being an all inclusive the food in the restaurants was ok, not bad but not great. We did enjoy sushi at Wasabi and SOHO had an amazing steak. So thank you GBP for a great overall vacation.

I was there last week for a 7 days all inclusive. The hotel was big but very clean , even the public bathrooms were spotless at all times, the staff are amazing , service every where was good , very friendly staff anything we asked for was done with a smile. Lots of shows to enjoy , by the beach at night , the show every night in the lobby was great specially when Mario was singing he was amazing , not just the voice he has but also the way he got everyone to get up and dance and enjoy the lobby vibe . Overall I give the hotel 9 out a 10 . PS: they have lots of peacocks everywhere they are so beautiful and other animals that are very well taken care of .
