We first stayed at this resort in July 2025 and loved it so much that we decided to return this year for a second visit. The resort itself is wonderful. Traveling with two kids under six, we truly appreciated the kids club (our girls absolutely loved it and never wanted to leave. A special thank you to Miss Flor, Marianny, Glenis, Winys, and Tania, who were incredible with them. Our oldest talked about them for an entire year after our first visit!) We also really enjoyed having the option of an adults-only pool, which allowed us to relax and enjoy some quiet time. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The mini fridge stocked with drinks and snacks was a big hit with the kids. As for the food, there is enough variety for everyone to find something they like, but overall we wouldn’t rate the dining experience very highly (that’s our personal opinion) We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the amazing staff who made our previous stay so memorable: Ivan and Gabriel at check-in, Diana at the spa center, Maximillian at the adults-only pool bar, Daniella at the juice bar, Calderon, Alexis, and Wady at Dommo Restaurant, Freddy for assisting with our luggage, Yajaira the spa concierge, and Ana and Domingo from our boat tour at the Water Fun & Dive Center. Thank you all for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to return again this August! 😊

This is the third time we have stayed at Excellence Punta Cana in an Excellence Club room and have enjoyed our stay each time. Check in is a breeze and the room was ready at the appointed time. It was maintained by our room attendant and if we had any additional requests they were promptly filled. We requested early make up of our room and were not disappointed with the room being refreshed before 10 am daily. We have eaten at all of the restaurants and found the food to be well prepared and tasteful. The waitstaff was excellent and attentive to our needs quickly refilling empty glasses and clearing plates. The pool and beach areas have plenty of palapas (on the beach) and umbrellas (by the pools). There are several people who deserve recognition for the service. Juan Carlos at Excellence Club beach area greeted us every morning and had a nicely shaded palapa ready for us daily. Bienvenido, a beach waiter/bartender at Palms Bar, ensured that our drinks were cold and replenished. “Jubie” at Las Olas was our waitress every day for lunch and she always greeted us with a smile and asked how our day was going. Vladimir worked at Las Olas and Chez Isabelle. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name of the young lady who maintained our room this year but she ensured there were no issues with cleanliness.

I had an amazing experience at Excellence resort. First positive impression was from the staff, everyone were welcoming and attentive. Special thanks to room service people. Luckily the room was modern, well maintained and very clean with meticulous cleaners. Magna and Oregano restaurants for breakfast and dinner were my favourite, the staff was amazing and warm. Aroma was also convenient, I really liked that they offered healthy options like cold-pressed juice and chia/oats pudding. Other people who stayed at the resort were also nice, I received many compliments daily. The only downside for me was not being able to swim in the ocean as there are strong waves. Also the Spice restaurant was not great, I was waiting a long time for the table despite the reservation and ended up leaving. Hotel staff tries to flirt all the time which feels overwhelming.

My Wife and I absolutely love Excellence! We stayed at the Punta Cana for 5 nights during the July. First off I need to compliment the staff! Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and truly made us feel like we were in paradise. The food was also a standout! All of the restaurants, bars, and coffee shops were excellent offering many different options which were SEASONED and cooked as expected. FOOD HIGHLIGHTS: Tomahawk steak, all shrimp and lobster dishes, lamb chops, The Buffet! I would highly recommend the excellence club upgrade if it’s in your budget, you will get some of the best staff, pools, bars, and beach location. Excellence club staff who stood out: Carlos(Best bartender in DR ask for dragonfruit drink!), Edwin, Demetrio-Excellence club bar. Marcial, Jorge, Hendrix- Excellence club beach staff. The gym and healthy food options were fantastic as well as the spa experience. We enjoyed a Swedish massage as well as the hydrotherapy both were very relaxing. Couple things to note, there is no night club or casino on the resort if you want stay entertained beyond 12am. The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning beachfront views and an atmosphere that perfectly balances luxury and relaxation. The staff went above and beyond to make every moment memorable. Their friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set this resort apart. Agave and the grill were incredible and the service was consistently impeccable. The accommodations were spacious, elegant, and meticulously clean, providing the perfect retreat after a day of enjoying the beach, pools, and activities. The entertainment, amenities, and overall resort experience exceeded all expectations. What impressed me most was the genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Every interaction felt personal, and it was clear that the team takes pride in creating an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Excellence Punta Cana to anyone looking for a luxurious, stress-free getaway in paradise. It was one of the best vacations I've ever had, and I cannot wait to return.
