My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was amazing, the environment was so pleasant and relaxing, and our room was so comfortable. What impressed us the most was the staff. The staff are so amazing at what they do. Estéfania from The Kitchen Table and Las Olas was so personable and warm, and she even went out of her way to give us a beautiful view for our lunch since there had not been room for us at Las Olas the day before. Oscar and Alberto from Revive (the smoothie bar), were the best team! They had us laughing, they recommended delicious drinks, and they made sure we were always enjoying something tasty by the pool. Reyes from the Grill and Yumari from the Lobster House were some of the best servers we have ever had. Reyes was constantly beaming with joy to be serving us, and Yumari made sure that we didn’t miss out on the tastiest options. Jesus from the entertainment team is a multitalented and charismatic addition to the entertainment team. We loved his guacamole class and his bracelet making class. My husband and I will never forget our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres thanks to the phenomenal staff. Thank you!!!!

My husband and I are here at Excellence Playa Mujeres for the second time for our anniversary and it has been an over the top amazing experience. Our room and housekeeping was great, along with all the staff at restaurants and bars. Our beach experience was exceptional, particularly our beach concierge and waitstaff. Josue has been amazing, getting us exactly what we need, He has been going absolutely above and beyond with the service, as has Edgar. Yessi has been absolutely amazing and has given better than excellent service, making sure drinks are topped off, and my cup is never empty. She has the best recommendations, and even knows what I want before I do. I highly recommend this resort and will be making another visit!

We had an amazing honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres in April and honestly, the staff made all the difference. Jesus was incredible the entire week (part of the entertainment team) we ran into him constantly and he always went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. From BB gun classes to beach drink lessons to dancing with us at events, he really showed us a great time. Hugo (I think he was the sommelier) was equally impressive, especially during his Mezcal tasting class where his knowledge and personality made it so much fun. He even surprised us later with custom drinks when he randomly ran into us at a party. Beyond those two standouts, we also want to give props to Remigio at Chez Isabel for guiding us through the menu and making our honeymoon dinner feel special, Silvia at The Grill for her excellent service, and Antonio at Lobster who was quick and thoughtful. The resort is great on its own, but team members like these who genuinely care make all the difference, especially if you're a first time resorter who feels a bit guilty about getting served all the time (like me).

He treated everyone with kindness and made our experience first rate!! Gustavo was our waiter and was also excellent. We had a wonderful day! And many thanks daily to Cesar at the martini bar. We look forward to visiting EPM annually!

We had an amazing stay at this resort. The whole trip was great, but the pool service is what really made it special for us. Yeudiel and Floricel were incredible. They were super friendly, always checked in on us, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask! From food and drinks to conversation they made our vacation amazing. If you’re thinking about staying here, do it. And definitely look for Yeudiel and Floricel. They made our experience unforgettable and we can’t wait to come back :)
