This resort is great - it’s a big resort, with lots of beautiful, well taken care of grounds! Upon arrival, we were checked in quickly & our room was absolutely amazing! Gorgeous view of the jungle & a clean, spacious room. Our favourite restaurant was the La Brassarie, the French restaurant - with Natura being a very close second, we went there nearly every day for lunch! Camilo, from the entertainment team was amazing! He’s extremely helpful and very friendly! He goes above and beyond in his job, all the time & he always has a smile on his face. Nothing is too much for Camilo & our holiday wouldn’t be the same without him! Would definitely love to come back!

We found the food to be hit or miss. I didn’t find anything outstanding but we found many enjoyable meals. The room was fine, and I explain it in further detail below. I found the service around the resort to be excellent. The person who stood out the most for me was Eduardo who helped us check our luggage in and often drove us on this golf cart. He was exceptional. The location was great. I like the way the resort is set up with the plaza in the middle and we are about 20 minutes from downtown Playa del Carmen and we went to Fifth Ave. twice.

I came to the Fives with my family for New Years and had a blast!! They had a huge new year celebration with music, drinks, and fireworks. There are so many different pools, bars, and food options- it is hard to get bored. The beach is gorgeous and the spa was so relaxing. We saw monkeys almost every day! The importantly, the staff was so kind and helpful. Augusto gave us exceptional service by the pool. Mocca treated my family as her own and became my best friend :)

This resort is wonderful. The staff is amazing! From Clare and Omar helping us plan and schedule stuff to Alexia and Kendy at the pool! The rooms are large with 3 bedrooms and penthouse our room was so fun to be in. We got to spend more quality time with our kiddos instead of them going to their room and us to ours. The food was mostly great, better than any other resort we have visited. Our servers remembered our coffee orders at breakfast! Miguel, Litzy, and Antonio were great waiters. And Daniel was a cocktail master! We can't wait to go back!

Our family of 4 have loved our time at The Fives hotel celebrating our son’s 21st birthday - everything has been perfect. Staff at the hotel are so helpful and can’t do enough to ensure that everyone is having a great time and is being well looked after. The pool activities have been great - Daniela, Cam & Eddie were great fun and had everyone laughing in and around the pool. The evening entertainment has been great and very varied, my daughter and I loved the Disney themed night! My son and husband spent many an hour each day at the swim up bar at the Lizzards pool! All the bar staff were great, Geramias, Jorge & Noe were really friendly and fun to chat to. Our favourite restaurant was the Koh Tai although all eateries were superb with lots of choices available. Our accommodation was great and the location of our apartment was ideal - we stayed in villa 8 over looking the pool, just perfect! We’re very sad to be leaving and will definitely be back soon!
