Pros: Great staff! very helpful, they went above and beyond! Isabel and Christin(concierge) were amazing to work with! The rooms were clean and housekeeping was great! Cons: The food was horrible at the buffets. I got indigestion after my first meal. Fusion was the only restaurant with good food. The pools close early and not much to do for teens or adults! the beach had a lot of seaweed so made it hard for good photos.

I stayed for five days starting on June 25th 2026. On my first day in the preferred lounge I met bartender Juan Jose. He made my trip amazing from just his great energy. He made me feel at home and created the best drinks for me. He was so welcoming and just a joy to be around. The food on the resort was the best I’ve had on a resort because it’s hard to cook for so many people but the food was good. Portofino restaurant was like family though. The service and vibes were amazing. There energy helped us have a great meal and enjoyable time. Hansel, Daily, Jose, Marcelo (the man!!) and Raul were great!! They treated me like royalty every time they saw me for breakfast or dinner. They all were amazing and Ana as well. I have been to several resorts now and this one is top of the line especially if you’re on the preferred side. It felt like we had the pool and bar to ourselves. Will definitely be back!!! Omar

This was the most amazing vacation. We stayed in preferred (which I highly recommend) and it was amazing. Jose was our Butler and I wish i could bring him back to the states with us. He was so nice and on top of everything. I can't remember the name of the room service girl but she was the sweetest. She set up our breakfast like a buffet for my kids and they loved it!!! Overall it was a great stay!

We have been to other great resorts in the area but the staff in this resort particularly went above and beyond. I would like to mention an absolute privilege to have been greeted every morning, and whenever we went back to the Italian buffet, Nelson Mandela who made my daughter feel very special. Also my personal favourite bar tender by the pool who was my translator and teacher as I’m trying to learn Spanish, Milagros. With her professionalism and skills, she belongs in a high place.
