We visited in February 2026 for a week with family, kids are 6 and 10 y/o. We loved the beach, although if you are not preferred it might be difficult to find a lounge chair in the shade on the beach, as we were going to the beach after breakfast , after 11.30 am. We loved waves of the ocean, yellow flag during day and red flag with no swimming allowed closer to the evening. It was convenient to get beach & pool towels, no need to deal with towel cards. The buffet was good, but sometimes they ran out of clean plates closer to the ending times. same with kids cereals and regular milk, we had to look around for those by the ending of breakfast time. For lunch and donner, when we were ordering pasta dishes and wanted olive oil it was not always easily available to find and kitchen staff had a hard time understanding what we were asking. I tried one time shrimp and lobster in the buffet, but unfortunately they were dry and not much taste, kind of disappointing, but we were able to find other tasty options. Wait staff provides good service , but when you need a refill on coffee it always takes a long time to find someone so it was easier just to go to their stations and refill coffee my self. My kids did enjoy some of the activities (slime event, dancing and other activities in the evening) but when we went to kids club, it did not seem too much exciting for them. Kids club is not air conditioned. My son wanted to play basketball , but other than they have it in teens' zone, we could not find any other way to play basketball. Teens zone looked pretty empty and some teens activities (like bowling competition) was cancelled due to no one participating. We loved the game room and paid $200 for our family for our entire stay , but cotton candy and claw machine were extra charge. we tried Hibachi restaurant and French, both were good. Housekeeping did a good job, sometimes they cleaned our room even twice a day.

Dreams Onyx is a Caribbean gem. We've been to Dreams Onyx a number of times and have enjoyed it every time. The resort is spotless, with beautifully manicured grounds and beach. Bellman Junior was the first friendly face we met. Each day started with tasty coffee and friendly smiles at the Cocco Cafe. We had two comfortable beds, with a dressing area in the bathroom. Plentiful towels in the bath and at the towel hut. Many choices for dining and we didn't have any long wait times. We had breakfast at the buffet, tasty tacos at the Taco Truck or a choice of food at Barfoot Grill for lunch. Dinner at Spice was our favorite, with gracious Graciela. There is something for everyone from the fun pool and beach activities, volleyball, Yoga. They even brought in a dunk tank, and a huge blowup mountain water slide. The water park was a blast. Youngsters have fun at Explorers Club and teens can hangout in the Core Zone. The Entertainment team: Sharina, Vero, Honey Tere, and Lucinda kept everyone busy. We even painted a lovely picture. The parades and shows were great! Adults can also use the facilities at Breathless. Can’t wait to go back!

Of course! Here’s a cleaned-up, polished version that keeps your tone warm and genuine while tightening things up a bit: --- We traveled with our 18-month-old daughter, my wife, and some friends, and we absolutely loved our experience at the resort. It was extremely kid-friendly, with a couple of small children’s pools that were only a few feet deep. One of them was warmer, which was perfect for our daughter. The water slides were also a lot of fun. We were very impressed by both the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff—everything was pristine. Even the landscaping and gardens were beautifully maintained. Eliphat, our bartender, went above and beyond to take care of us. He was incredibly attentive and even came out to our swim-up bar to make sure we had drinks. This resort also had the nicest beach I’ve experienced at any resort. There was barely any seaweed, the waves were fun to swim in, and the sand was soft with no rocks, even in the water. If we’re able to, we will definitely be coming back again next year.

Our group of 16 (ages 8-77) had an incredible time!! Our rooms (building 7) were fantastic and always cleaned well. Kids loved the waterpark and beach, and adults loved the preferred adult pool. Food is average - crepes and omelettes at breakfast were the best part of the buffet, and we all loved the French restaurant! Vast majority of the staff were fun and friendly, and our butler Starling was outstanding. We absolutely loved our stay!

I was at Dreams for my 26th birthday and they made me feel at home. Our experience at the hotel was excellent from start to finish. The facilities are beautiful, clean and very well maintained, the food varied and delicious, and the perfect atmosphere to relax and have fun. But without a doubt, the best of our entire stay was the entertainment department, especially Vero. His energy, charisma and professionalism made the difference. Always kind, attentive and with a contagious attitude, she managed to make every activity fun and special. It shows when someone loves what they do, and Vero shows it at every moment. Thanks to her, our experience was even more memorable. We would definitely go back and recommend this hotel 100%. Thank you for making our stay so special!
