This is a great resort to bring the family! There were several employees that stood out during the experience. Lizbeth is a server at the resort and she’s incredible! We tried to make sure she was our server everyday. She always made sure we were well taken care of, and you could tell she really enjoys what she’s doing. Javier was the Hibachi chef and WOW! Not only is he a talented chef, he’s an entertainer at heart and it made a world of difference. The restaurant had 3 hibachi tables, but Javier’s table was the one singing, dancing and engaging in the experience because of his incredible showmanship. Priscilla is a barista at the cafe and she is AMAZING! Not only does she make the best caramel macchiatos, but she’s always smiling, enjoying her experience, and helping everyone around her enjoy their experience too! Roberto served us at the Bluewater grill and he was hilarious. We asked him to bring us their spiciest salsa and he obliged, laughing and enjoying the experience with us. The resort itself is amazing, with a lazy river, zip line, infinity pool and non-stop entertainment. But their employees are what would bring us back. If you go to Dreams Natura in Cancun, make sure you look for Lizbeth, Javier, Roberto and Priscilla. They’ll make sure you’re well taken care of!

We came for a wedding. We stayed in the preferred rooms which were very spacious and clean and overlooking the beach. I was not made aware of any extras that came with preferred status, so if there are any we didn't have them. The staff was lovely and friendly. It is a very busy hotel, music always playing, loudly, so if you're looking for a quiet getaway this isn't it. Very kid friendly with lots of activities all of the time. We were with a wedding so we can't comment on the food since we didn't eat in the restaurants.

I'm going to give Dreams Natura a 5-star review even though there were a few aspects of our trip that weren't perfect. Those aspects were relatively minor and don't affect the overall good time we had this week. We upgraded to a Preferred Club room, and I think that was a worthwhile upgrade. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was great, the partial ocean view also overlooks the pool area and was great. It also includes a preferred check-in, and exclusive access to the lounge and one of the pools (the preferred pool is adults only, so it wasn't of much use to us, but it was pretty quiet all week). The food was good. We were 100% happy with the restaurants (the preferred club lounge is a nice option especially for breakfast) but the couple times we ordered room service it was not so great. And a few times our orders got mixed up but like I said, this only a minor inconvenience for us. The beach was great. Some other reviews made it seem like the beach was not so great, but we were very happy with it. The pools, lazy river and water slides were also great for us and our kids (we probably did 100 laps of the lazy river). We also enjoyed the extra entertainment (the fire show, pop show, live music, etc) It's also worth noting that this is a smaller resort so it's easy to navigate on foot.

Hotel is clean with spacious rooms. Overall service is great until you get to the beach/swim up bar where they ignore you for the most part. Food options aren’t bad, overall a 3/5. Most of the restaurant options aren’t good food wise (except the Italian which was surprisingly yummy)! Nightly entertainment was great- we liked the option of a show or the band which was nice. The silent party was at the same time as the band and all takes place in the lobby so a bit confusing and not as fun as a result. As it’s open, Keep in mind it’s very loud from the rooms (echos) so if you go to bed early - good luck. Beach is horrendous! Tons of seaweed, lots of coral that you cut your feet on and always a red flag. Crocodiles ver nearby so be careful of that. Tractor wandering up and down the beach the whole week we stayed. Beach isn’t large either so don’t count on this as part of your vacation. The lazy river is fully shaded - meaning there is no sun in that area or on the slides. It’s a bit cooler in those areas as a result. The zip line ride doesn’t let you on if you are the slightest bit wet. Overall- if you’re going for a few days and don’t like the ocean- this would be a great choice.

We went to Dreams Natura as a large group for a wedding. I have been to Mexico resorts a handful of times in the past and Dreams would rate overall closer to the top. The top highlights would be the entertainment group, they always had something fun to do whether its water aerobics, standing on a shaking surfboard or wine and tequila tasting, it was super fun. In fact I will say David the sommelier was the highlight of the trip. The wine tasting experience was really 11/10 with great wine, even better food pairings and David was super informative and friendly. I also thought the food was a highlight for me. Like all AI's, there will be some hits and misses, but some of the hits were just incredible. We all enjoyed the Italian as it was fun and everything was fresh and tasty, but the highlight was really the french, the salmon was incredible but so was the ribeye. So good. The downsides got to be the location feels like the middle of nowhere, so unless you have an ocean facing view, don't expect anything nice. The resort can get some funny smells depending on the direction of the wind. And lastly there isn't enough pool chairs/beds for everyone. Early in the morning people will throw towels to reserve them. Lastly, the ocean water was just not inviting at all, it changes colors from brown to dark green, its too bad. Overall I don't know if I would go back to this specific resort but I had a good time with good memories
