Was less than pleased with the level of service and quality of food and drinks offered. The entry level experience was sub par with the "Premium Tier" just touching on a couple top shelf offerings. Food for the most part was geared toward excess more so than quality. Staff and pool side attendants were very nice and willing to take care of your needs. However, bar tenders apparently felt as if we (the guests) were a burden. This was very evident of an evening when they seemed to have to cater to an overwhelming number of guests affiliated with the many destination weddings Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana seems to take on. One evening I stood by for fifteen minutes to place a single drink order, only to have the Lobby bartender step off to take selfies with her friends. Needless to say, I didn't stick around for her to finish it. Rooms were nice and housekeeping did a great job of refreshing them daily. The resort staff was great for the most part, lacking in areas mentioned above. After our experience being there for only three days and three nights, I was ready to leave. Not impressed and definitely not looking to buy in on the Hyatt experience in the future.

Wonderful experience. Preferred club was worth it. Staff actually checked and ensured only preferred members were in designated locations. Lounge chairs were always available on the preferred club family pool side. Macao Beach was beautiful. The shore sloped gently into the ocean. No seaweed and no jagged rocks on shore, just smooth sand (best part of the hotel). Service was average. Shoutout to Eduardo Minivar for making our stay much more memorable. He was kind, attentive and always tended to our needs. Thank you so much buddy. Food was good. Made fresh daily. No issues with any gastrointestinal symptoms. Rooms were clean and modern.

​We recently booked our stay at Dreams Macao through Costco Travel, and it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. ​The location is absolutely stunning. One of the biggest highlights for us was the beach—there was zero sargassum, which meant we got to enjoy perfect sand and crystal-clear water every single day. The property itself is beautiful, and our room was clean for the duration of the trip. ​If you are on the fence about upgrading, we did not book a Preferred room and didn't feel like we missed out on anything. We had absolutely no problems getting seats for dinner at any of the restaurants. 630p waiting lists usually begins especially at Seafood Grill. Get there around 730 and youll wait an hour. For the teppenyaki show youll have to wait around 830-845a to reserve for the evening. By 930a rsvp may already close. Just plan accordingly and youll be fine. And just be OK to wait or enjoy the time. ​While the resort itself is great, it was the exceptional staff that truly made our vacation unforgettable. A massive shoutout to the following team members: ​Heiser made our check-in process incredibly welcoming and seamless. ​Jesus was so helpful in getting our activities set up and activating our coupons. ​Doling was an absolute professional at the bar, and Ramon kept the fantastic drinks flowing at the infinity pool. ​Ismael gave us stellar service at Portofino's on 7/29—he served our plates perfectly and even took a great picture for us. ​Maribel Peters was a wonderful main dinner server who took great care of us. ​Richard provided an awesome dining experience at Teppanyaki. ​Wilken at El Patio went above and beyond to bring out a birthday cake for our daughter, making the trip extra special for her! ​Jonelivis was incredibly accommodating and helpful when we needed to reschedule our events. Wish I could remember our masseuse as they were great at the spa. ​Lastly, during our stay, we were invited to attend the vacation club presentation. We decided to listen, and while we ultimately declined the membership, it was well worth our time because they gave us a free massage and complimentary access to the arcade! ​Overall, an amazing vacation with top-tier service and a seamless booking experience. I highly recommend this resort!

Our stay at Dreams Macao Punta Cana was absolutely amazing! The resort is beautiful, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Every single employee we encountered was so lovely, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The level of service here is beyond exceptional. A special shoutout to Francheska at the beach bar, Willy Wonka, and Tairie for going above and beyond to make our trip so memorable. Their energy, kindness, and attention to detail made us feel so special throughout our stay. One of the best things about this resort is how much there is to do internally — there’s truly no reason to leave the property because they offer so many activities, entertainment options, and amenities. It made the entire vacation feel relaxing and effortless. Although our group didn’t have kids with us, we couldn’t help but notice how incredible the staff was with children. You could tell they genuinely cared about the families staying there — we even saw kids running up to hug staff members later in the day after recognizing them. It was such a sweet thing to witness and really speaks to the warmth and friendliness of the team. We also appreciated that most, if not all, employees spoke English, which made communication very easy and comfortable. We are already planning our next trip back. Thank you to the entire Dreams Macao team for such an incredible experience!

Miguel was our butler and he was awesome. He was very attentive and took care of everything we asked of him, he checked on us every morning and let us know what was going on inside the. Resort and made sure we did not need anything. This is our second time here and we enjoyed it.Just as much as we did.The first time. I feel the food was better this time than last time.We were here. It is a beautiful place to come. And stay, and it is a very reasonable price, come and check it out for yourself!! We were very glad we got my Meguel. As our butler, as I said before, he did a fantastic job and comes highly recommended. This is our second time at this resort. This resort is kid friendly with activities and pool games. There is entertainment every night. The beach is beautiful
