My family and I just got back from this hotel and I had to write a review . Because I don’t nobody to go through what we went through last week so to start off, it’s nothing like in the pictures. The food is horrible. We got there and got greeted by a young man named Rafa. He was nice, but his job is trying to get you to go to another hotel from Hyatt to Sell you some sort of package you have to pay for monthly and they tell you it’s just to look around at their other hotels but really is to pressure you to buy this packet. They tell you there will be free breakfast which there is but you can’t even enjoy because someone is already questioning you about your life and what you do to sell you this anyways after we Wasted Whole morning, We went back to the hotel and for the whole week the food was horrible. We were told it would be different cuts of meats picaña,filet mignon and there was nothing like that. They also told us there was a seafood restaurant and we tried going there and it was closed. It’s a very inconvenient place. We went to another restaurant called Oceana and they took about a whole hour to serve us ,my son fell asleep and didn’t get to eat. The food quality is very low. If you have gone to five star all inclusive it’s nothing like that. if you are trying to go and eat exotic fruits They don’t have a good selection. The meats are cooked on the same grill, pork chicken, and fish. Please don’t waste your money here. The desserts are nothing special very low quality even in the restaurants.

We had an excellent stay at Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our trip. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for a younger couples getaway. The staff truly made the experience special—everyone was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. A special mention to Adalberto at the mixology bar, who was amazing throughout our stay. His drinks were fantastic, and his energy and service really stood out. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting. Much appreciated.

I'll start with the bad: we booked this location primarily because of the pictures of their clear water bay right off their beach. What we got was a seaweed ridden lagoon that nobody wanted to spend much time in. The pools were very busy because nobody really wanted to use the beach. This was our annual 'beach trip' but felt like it was without a beach. We did discover you can walk to a public beach / Fatima Bay a half mile away which did scratch that itch for us. That being said, the rooms were good, the food above expectations, and the service was overall excellent. They do seem a little short staffed/busy though. Also there are some areas (world cafe/buffet and game room) which seem to be lacking adequate air conditioning).

The facilities also felt old and outdated, and overall maintenance did not seem to be a priority. The hotel itself did not resemble what you would expect from a five-star resort, and the pictures online were somewhat misleading compared to the actual condition of the property. The “private” beach was also covered in seaweed during our stay, which made it less enjoyable to use. Another downside was the in-room amenities. Unlike many other all-inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at, the room only had beer in the refrigerator and no liquor bottles provided. Additionally, the liquor served at the bars seemed very watered down. The resort also advertises a “premium” side, but during our stay it appeared that everyone had access to those areas, which made the upgrade feel misleading. Great stay...smaller older property....great food, staff was awesome and resort is very clean. Perfect for family get together of all ages. If this is your 1st all inclusive in Mexico this is where to start to learn the ropes and not be overwhelmed. Not a party scene but very relaxing and enjoyable. Beer choices for room are very limited. Paying extra for Premier did not seem worth the money.
