We had a really fabulous stay at The Yama Hotel Phuket over New Years Eve! We were continually blown away with the genuine kindness and warmth from each and every one of the staff there. It really felt like they truly cared about us as their guest and nothing felt forced or rehearsed. They were professional and warm with a vibe that felt like we were the most honroed guest of their home. For the New Years Eve party, it was clear that they put thought to it, from the decor, to the spread of the quality of the food, the performances and activities planned, we were just amazed how dedicated each of the staff members were in their roles. The hotel and rooms themselves were clean, spacious, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The staff was responsive and readily available if we needed anything or had questions. The breakfast was wonderful with many items that were made in house, such as their bread and the soymilk (so delicious)! We were surprised with the freshness and the care that went into the preparation, the flavors and presentation. Also, their coffee was quite decent and you can tell that they service their machines regularly (and I've had some bad hotel coffee made from automated push-buttons ones to know the difference). It was delightful every morning to sit by the pool and enjoy the view overlooking Phuket while having tasty breakfast! Thank you for making us feel so special and for such a wonderful New Years celebration!

We spent the last three days at the Yama Hotel at Kata Beach and felt completely comfortable from the first moment. The hotel is very well maintained, everything is spotlessly clean, and the staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. One day before our son’s birthday, we asked if it would be possible to decorate a small birthday table for him. The team made a huge effort and surprised him with a beautifully decorated table and cake decorations, and they even sang for him. It was a very touching moment for our family. The hotel is very family-friendly, with an indoor playroom for children and a shuttle service to Kata Beach. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and the perfect ending to this special gift. We highly recommend the Yama Hotel and will definitely come back.

A beautiful hotel with well-designed rooms and all the essential amenities you would expect from a five-star beachfront hotel. Although it is not located directly on the beach, the hotel offers a peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere with excellent privacy. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service and free beach towels for guests going to the beach. The swimming pool is stunning, with a waterfall during the day that creates a relaxing atmosphere. The pool bar staff are all friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Naay, the Hotel Manager, who takes exceptional care of guests. We saw Naay everywhere around the hotel, always attentive and ready to help whenever needed. It truly feels like he is personally looking after every guest. We highly recommend this hotel as one of the best places to stay in Phuket.

We staying in the superior room with the pool access. The pool area beside room is around ankle deep but is nice for sitting/laying down and there is a ladder to access the pool. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Bar area is nice to sit and have a drink. There is the option to eat inside and outside. The food was good. We had a Thai Massage that was quite pleasant. I would recommend a stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, a true moment of relaxation and well-being. The place is very welcoming, cozy and incredibly peaceful, making you feel at home right away. The hotel offers a shuttle service that takes you directly to Kata Beach in just about 10 minutes, which is extremely convenient. I also had a Thai massage with Fern, and it was absolutely amazing. She is highly skilled and attentive, and she even explained where I had tension in my body and the benefits of the massage, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel: amazing staff, excellent service, and a beautiful view of the mountains. A real haven of peace.
