Booked this hotel based on the brand and great reviews especially on the breakfast. Rooms, location, service was all very good. But 3 items would hesitate me to come here again. 1. Parking was limited for those with own transport. Had to park by the roadside a few times. The space provided doesn't match the size of the resort. And the 2 EV spaces were always empty throughout my 4 days stay. 2. Breakfast was disappointing for a Westin Luxury Resort. Can't understand how reviews said the choices were incredible with lots of fruits and juices. The spread was limited and the same everyday. Don't think the juices in the big containers are fresh. Some of the dishes lacking in taste. By the 2nd breakfast the family was asking if we could have breakfast somewhere else. 3. Tried in room dining. Also surprised by the portion and again the quality of the taste. Didn't enjoy the meal. Westin really need to improve on the food dept, the food quality and serving more like a 3 star hotel in Malaysia

Eh Chiau Eh Mai

I had a very pleasant stay at The Westin Resort Langkawi during my holiday on 21 - 23 Jan 2026, returning after 18 years away from Langkawi. The reception staff, Farah, was very polite and courteous. The Director of Rooms, Seri, personally came to meet and greet me during check-in—she was truly amazing. She gave a wonderful introduction to the beautiful resort and thoughtfully suggested facilities for me to explore during my stay. I had dinner at Seasonal Tastes, where the food was delicious. The staff, Muhaimin and Reen, were professional and courteous—kudos to both of them. On the second day, as I passed by the reception counter, I was pleasantly surprised when the Front Office Manager, Nazar, and her team wished me a happy birthday. It truly made my day. Upon entering my room, I was delighted to find beautiful birthday decorations on my bed, along with a cake and a birthday card signed by the Front Office team. I felt genuinely appreciated. Special thanks to Logen and the Housekeeping team for their effort and thoughtful decorations. Overall, my stay was delightful, with a beautiful resort and amazing staff. I will definitely return in the near future with my whole family.

Wonderful place. We were very unfortunate as upon arrival there was a large storm and the balcony flooded and so did the room. The manager swiftly moved us to a Vila with a private pool which was wonderful. Such excellent service. All the staff are so very friendly and will really make your holiday that much better. The pool bar is run by Alif Amirul & Azham who are great bar tenders and will mix you great drinks. Very nice friendly guys. It is the oldest hotel on the island so it does need a little TLC but that did not stop us having an amazing vacation. Felix the new general manager is always around and very nice he even made the effort to come and say good by as we left.

We recently stayed at The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa for 5 nights, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The food was excellent, with a great variety and quality across all meals. A special mention goes to Fieza at the Breeze Bar, whose warm smile and prompt, attentive service truly stood out and made our evenings even more enjoyable. We also loved the live entertainment at night—it added a wonderful atmosphere and made our stay even more memorable. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely love to return in the future. Highly recommended!
