Berjaya Langkawi is set on a stunning stretch of rainforest by the beach, with standalone chalets scattered across the huge property. Staying here really feels like being immersed in nature — you’ll see monkeys, flying lemurs, and all kinds of native plants right outside your room. It’s a peaceful, one-of-a-kind environment that’s hard to come by. The staff are consistently warm and helpful, and they deserve credit for the distances they cover on foot or by motorbike even in the rain, just to attend to guests in such a large resort. The gym facilities are decent, and the property is generally well kept and clean. However, the hotel management could tighten up on room standards. Basic amenities like toothbrushes and fresh towels were not always consistently stocked, which is surprising for a resort of this size and reputation. With better consistency in maintenance and room preparation, the overall stay would be significantly improved. A wonderful getaway for those who love nature — and with a little more attention from management, it has the potential to be truly outstanding.

It's a magnificent place and hotel. The staff is respectful and friendly. All the restaurants are excellent. The breakfast is very diverse, offering a wide variety of dishes, not just Far Eastern and local fare. It has a beautiful beach and pool. If you're looking to live in the rainforest, this is the place for you. However, they also have rooms available over the sea, and they're much more expensive. Buggies are available 24/7 to reach the lobby and restaurants. There are monkeys everywhere, so be careful. You might run into trouble if you're carrying food and plastic bags. The hotel is a bit far from the airport and the city center, but that's not a problem. It's a small island anyway. It's a hotel nestled in the wild, and you'll definitely enjoy it.

We had one of the best rooms with the jungle view. It was lovely staying amidst nature. They have buggy Services to and from the room, which is a great experience in itself. We also had a morning nature walk where we saw different kinds of monkeys and other creatures in the jungle. The breakfast buffet spread is one of the best I have ever experienced. Overall, a lovely day, and I would love to come back again.

Loved our time here! Great option, especially for the price and value you get. What we loved: -Jungle Trek with Ikram. Saw so many natural things and animals, and Ikram was incredibly knowledgeable. You can sign up at the sports and recreation desk. -Yoga with the sound bath (hosted at the spa twice a week, and you can sign up at the spa desk). Loved this! Super cool to do in the natural setting. -The Spa: best massage of my life! We did the signature one and the traditional Malay one. Also had great veggie options at breakfast and the restaurants (tofu, veggie curries, eggs). Loved all the drinks (mocktails and cocktails) and juices too!

We like the service given by berjaya Rooms were spacious with all facilities and bar counter which was complimentary bcz we had booked suite room with bath tub. It was awesome place to relax because sea view facing rooms hence u can n joy and relax. Staff was also good and cooperative . The 24/7 shuttle service is also good. Only issue was monkeys issue at balconies during day time and lizard’s issues at night time which I personally scared a lot . Overall it was good experience .
