The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur is an exceptional experience by all standards. The location is superb, just steps away from Pavilion Mall and within walking distance of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the service is outstanding from the moment you arrive until checkout. The staff are professional and anticipate your needs before you even ask. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

I have been travelling to Kuala Lumpur on business every couple of months for the past few years, and I almost always stay at The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur. During these stays, two members of the breakfast team have consistently made my mornings special, and I would like to recognize their outstanding service. Tariqul at the juice counter is exceptional. He remembers that I enjoy a freshly made green juice, even though it isn't part of the regular breakfast selection. Every time he sees me, he prepares it automatically without me having to ask. He also never fails to greet me warmly and reminds me to take care of myself. His thoughtfulness, consistency, and genuine care go far beyond excellent customer service. I would also like to commend Nilufa, who always welcomes me back with such warmth that it feels like coming home. As someone who travels frequently for work, being away from home can be tiring. Tariqul and Nilufa have made each business trip much more enjoyable through their kindness, attentiveness, and personal touch. They are wonderful ambassadors of The Ritz-Carlton's legendary service, and I am truly grateful for everything they do.

We stayed for one night (transiting in KL) and came away pleasantly surprised. Having read numerous reviews describing the property as dated, I was initially hesitant. However, following its 2020 refurbishment, I found the hotel continues to uphold the elegance expected of the Ritz brand. While the carpet is beginning to show its age, the room itself was well maintained and felt distinctly Ritz! Well, certainly in better condition than some other Ritz properties I have visited (eg. Perth). We booked a Deluxe Room and despite the hotel operating at full occupancy, were generously upgraded to an Executive Deluxe Room as a Marriott Bonvoy Gold member. Communication before arrival was excellent. We enquired whether an engraved key card could be arranged… Although this property does not offer this service, the team responded promptly through email and thoughtfully prepared a photo frame as an alternative gesture. It was an unexpected touch that demonstrated genuine hospitality. One area that could be improved is the arrival experience. There are separate drop-off points for Club guests and standard guests, but there was no staff member outside to greet arriving guests or direct them accordingly. Unfortunately, we had an early departure the following morning and were unable to experience the breakfast or the hotel’s facilities, so I cannot comment on those aspects. The location is excellent, being directly adjacent to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and within easy walking distance of many attractions. The only drawback is that traffic around Bukit Bintang during peak hours can be extremely heavy, so it is worth allowing extra travel time if arriving by car. Overall, it offers excellent value for the level of service and location. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Kuala Lumpur.

I recently stayed at your property for the first time as a gift to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The thoughtful preparation of a cake and balloons in the room made her very happy, and I truly appreciate the effort. We also had the chance to enjoy the Club Lounge, where concierge Alex Diong Yong Jian provided outstanding support. His perfect advice and assistance made our experience even more special, and I am sincerely grateful. I look forward to meeting him again during our next visit.

Rooms looked a bit worn down and the beds were a bit too springy (could feel every movement on a king size bed if you're sleeping with your significant other). Not the best room compared to other Ritz-Carltons I've stayed at but the location was great. Proximity to Pavilion mall which also has access to the connection sky bridges that take you to other areas such as the Petronas Twin Towers/KLCC. In the opposite direction of Pavilion, there's The Exchange TRX which is less crowded and has a giant plaza in front of it with many restaurants in nearby streets. Hotel breakfast had decent selection and the club lounge was nice too. If you booked a club room, you can access the club lounge on the ground level. Club Lounge was great. We had afternoon tea and evening snacks there. They pretty much had something to offer throughout the day which was nice for those who plan to spend the day at the hotel or in the area. The hotel was a bit confusing to navigate around at first due to lack of visible signage and the front desk person that checked us in did not help us figure out how to get to the elevators. We also weren't told where the club lounge was so a lot of the first day navigating around the hotel we had to do ourselves. Other than that, service was decent. We celebrated our anniversary here and the hotel staff provided us with a nice treat in the room. Overall a good stay.
