Check-in was disappointing. There was no proper queue system—some guests lined up while others simply cut the queue, and the reception staff didn’t do anything to manage it. When we entered the room, there wasn’t even a simple welcome note, which is something I’ve received even at 4-star hotels. I emailed the hotel almost 3 weeks in advance requesting a high-floor room but didn’t get one at check-in. I requested again on the second day, and thankfully the hotel was able to move me to a higher floor, which I appreciated. I also requested a small birthday decoration and cake for my husband’s birthday. While they provided a cake and card, the card wished me a happy birthday instead of my husband. I’ve had much better attention to detail at hotels that cost less. The housekeeping staff were also very loud—we could hear vacuuming, doors banging, and staff talking loudly in the hallway. The curtains looked worn out, the TV only had basic channels, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The highlights were the bathroom amenities, especially the shampoo, and the breakfast. The breakfast staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, for the price, I expected a much better overall stay.

Had an amazing afternoon tea experience at Grand Hyatt! The service was excellent…friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout. The food was an experience in itself, with beautifully presented savory bites and absolutely amazing desserts. Every item was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The breathtaking view of the Petronas Twin Towers made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable afternoon tea in Kuala Lumpur!

Our stay at Grand Hyatt was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The room was absolutely wonderful—comfortable, spacious, and beautifully maintained. It quickly became a place we looked forward to returning to after a long day of exploring. Breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning. The selection was incredible, with plenty of delicious options to suit everyone, and the beautiful view made the experience even more special. I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to the bellboys at the concierge. They were always so attentive, polite, and eager to help, whether it was with our luggage or answering our questions. Their kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression on us. Thank you to the entire Grand Hyatt team for making our stay so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely be back the next time we visit.

Overall I'd say 3.7 out of 5. Location is great, breakfast not so kids friendly for our toddlers who like asian foods non spicy. No kids activities area. We were an hour early for Check-in and they saiid room is being prepared but as far as their hospitality I think they didn't really want to let us do early Check-in. My reason to say this: They didn't send me any welcome email like 5 star hotel would and we sat at the lobby 45mins saw that they didn't seems care or " forgot " sending me an email. Until my wife back and approach them right before 3pm and they said room is ready and they were about to email me lol. Asked for late check-out? A subject to availability 2. Room was pretty dusty especially The CLOSET! On hangers and top shelf very dusty and definitely haven't been check or wipe down weeks kinda dust. We also seen yellow stain on the shower floors, toilet restroom floor That for us shouldn't be happened in 5 star hotel. At the very last, we travelled across the globe, booked Hyatt 5 star hotel and paid premium price hoping that being a member it would be a better experience and 5 star stay for us. But really what we paid was the location since it close to Pavillion, KLCC, Petronas Tower, KL Tower I think next time in KL we def. Will rethinking if Hyatt would fit best for us with 2 toddlers.

Had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. The room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The hotel service was truly exceptional. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Every detail was handled with care, and you can really feel the high standard of hospitality throughout the property. Of course, the price is premium too... haha! But honestly, great service and great value deserve a fair price. You get what you pay for, and in this case, the experience was definitely worth it. By the way, I was pleasantly surprised by the Hainanese Chicken Rice here. I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of my stay. Delicious, well-executed, and definitely worth trying. Overall, a fantastic hotel experience with excellent service, comfortable rooms, and some unexpectedly great food. Highly recommended!
