Check-in was disappointing. There was no proper queue system—some guests lined up while others simply cut the queue, and the reception staff didn’t do anything to manage it. When we entered the room, there wasn’t even a simple welcome note, which is something I’ve received even at 4-star hotels. I emailed the hotel almost 3 weeks in advance requesting a high-floor room but didn’t get one at check-in. I requested again on the second day, and thankfully the hotel was able to move me to a higher floor, which I appreciated. I also requested a small birthday decoration and cake for my husband’s birthday. While they provided a cake and card, the card wished me a happy birthday instead of my husband. I’ve had much better attention to detail at hotels that cost less. The housekeeping staff were also very loud—we could hear vacuuming, doors banging, and staff talking loudly in the hallway. The curtains looked worn out, the TV only had basic channels, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The highlights were the bathroom amenities, especially the shampoo, and the breakfast. The breakfast staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, for the price, I expected a much better overall stay.

Our stay at Grand Hyatt was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The room was absolutely wonderful—comfortable, spacious, and beautifully maintained. It quickly became a place we looked forward to returning to after a long day of exploring. Breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning. The selection was incredible, with plenty of delicious options to suit everyone, and the beautiful view made the experience even more special. I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to the bellboys at the concierge. They were always so attentive, polite, and eager to help, whether it was with our luggage or answering our questions. Their kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression on us. Thank you to the entire Grand Hyatt team for making our stay so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely be back the next time we visit.

Had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. The room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The hotel service was truly exceptional. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Every detail was handled with care, and you can really feel the high standard of hospitality throughout the property. Of course, the price is premium too... haha! But honestly, great service and great value deserve a fair price. You get what you pay for, and in this case, the experience was definitely worth it. By the way, I was pleasantly surprised by the Hainanese Chicken Rice here. I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of my stay. Delicious, well-executed, and definitely worth trying. Overall, a fantastic hotel experience with excellent service, comfortable rooms, and some unexpectedly great food. Highly recommended!

Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur has a presence that you feel quite quickly, especially once you arrive at the main foyer. The grand staircase sets the tone, and it gives the place a sense of occasion right from the start. What I’ve always found memorable is the arrival experience at the top-floor lobby. Checking in there, combined with the dining spaces and views, creates a strong impression every time. The food is consistently good, and when you pair that with the skyline, it becomes one of those settings you actually look forward to returning to. I also have a more personal connection here. One of my close friends held her wedding and reception at the hotel, and I was involved in leading the event management. It is the kind of place that works well for those moments. The layout, atmosphere, and overall flow support both social and formal events quite naturally. The rooms feel comfortable and properly luxurious, though slightly more traditional in style compared to some of the newer hotels.
