What can I say, this hotel is truly first class in every way. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless, warm, and unmistakably upscale. Our room was spotless, with impeccable white-glove cleanliness and flawless housekeeping. There was always plenty of drinking water provided, along with both coffee and tea service in the room, which we really appreciated. We paid a great rate and were assigned a twin room, which was perfectly comfortable and absolutely fine for our stay. The linens were top-of-the-line, crisp, sparkling white, and pressed to perfection. Fresh towels every day and a beautifully refreshed room after each housekeeping service made returning to our room a genuine pleasure. The rooftop pool area on the 3rd floor was lovely, offering a peaceful escape with attentive food and drink service. You could enjoy lunch or dinner right at your lounger, or dine in the designated seating area, all while taking in views of the city alongside the greenery of the nearby park, a wonderful balance of urban and serene. The location is ideal, set in one of Kuala Lumpur’s trendiest areas and within easy reach of everything. The doormen greeted us warmly each day with genuine smiles, always asking how our day had been. Those small touches truly set this hotel apart. Warm, elegant, and undeniably luxurious, the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur delivers exactly what you’d expect from a world-class hotel. We would absolutely stay here again.

Mandarin Oriental KL is a 5 star hotel. The location is perfect. Walking distance to KLCC so you can easily head out for shopping or sightseeing without worrying about transport. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. We booked a Twin Towers view room king bed, 2714. City view, facing the back of the KLCC towers and the room was spacious enough for two adults. The bathroom included a bathtub and a wall mounted shower that lacked a hand shower which made it inconvenient especially if you wanted to avoid wetting your hair during a quick rinse. Breakfast buffet was honestly lack of choice. Not many varieties and it felt just ok ok. Definitely not what I’d expect from a 5 star hotel. Overall the hotel location, service and room comfort was good but small details like bathroom fittings and breakfast variety could be improved.

We stayed at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur over Christmas. The hotel offers excellent service with very attentive staff and an outstanding location. The view of the Petronas Towers is absolutely unbeatable. Room service was excellent, everything was very tasty and well presented. From the hotel, you can conveniently walk directly into the shopping mall and then continue on to the Petronas Towers, which is a big plus. However, the hotel itself feels quite old. Both the interiors and the rooms are outdated. While everything was clean, there was an unpleasant smell in the corridors. The bathrooms had both a shower and a bathtub, but there were no toiletries provided by the bathtub, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the breakfast. The coffee, in particular, was not very good. I generally love the Mandarin Oriental brand, but this property is in serious need of renovation and updating. Despite the very high level of service, I would probably not choose to stay here again.

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur was truly outstanding. The hotel enjoys a prime location between the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The room was spacious, elegant, and exceptionally clean, with breathtaking views of the city or the park. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive to the smallest details. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of high-quality options, and the restaurants within the hotel offer excellent international dining. The pool area is stunning and perfect for relaxation, and the spa and fitness facilities are top-notch. A luxurious and memorable experience — highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, elegance, and exceptional service in Kuala Lumpur.

Enjoyed a perfect 3-night stay at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. We were in a Club Twin Towers Room (2617) with a dramatic view. The room itself was really comfortable and quiet with a lovely king-sized bed, retro bathroom (with a powerful shower that was always hot and featured nice products), a little seating area and coffee machine. Staff throughout were excellent: professional, kind, fun to talk to and so hospitable. We used the gym and pool every day - both were top notch. Location was perfect for us and we really enjoyed the MO club. Breakfast was superb: different options every day (from roti canai to mee goreng to dim sum to nasi lemak) and always tasty, lots of fruit, pastries and continental options. We also had the afternoon tea and cocktail hour one day: both were fun. The lounge itself was very peaceful and tastefully decorated. I would definitely return to the Mandarin Oriental - thank you to everyone who made our Christmas here so magical!
