I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Lexington Hotel! The rooms are small (true of nearly every hotel in NYC) however the closet was very deep and the dresser was just large enough for my partner and I to unpack. Perfect sized room for two people - any more would have been a bit of a stretch. Same is true for the bathroom - small but just enough shelves & storage to unpack. Great water pressure in the shower and no issues with hot water. Heating & AC worked as expected. Housekeeping was consistent, refreshing towels and emptying trash on a daily basis was so helpful! The elevators were very efficient and reliable, never had any issues getting in or out of our room. The location is great! Super walkable to the theater district and very fun to be in close proximity to 5th Ave, Rock Center, and the SE corner of Central Park. Overall a great stay, would come back and would recommend to a friend!

Rating: 1/5 Stars (Service was dismissive and disappointing) As a dedicated Marriott Titanium Elite member who spends extensively with the brand year after year, I recently completed a very long stay, nearly two full weeks, at The Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection. This experience was profoundly disappointing and has forced me to seriously question the value of my loyalty to the Marriott brand. Loyalty Ignored, Benefits Denied The primary issue was the hotel’s complete failure to recognize or honor my high-tier status. Despite a stay that involved a significant commitment, and with premium rooms clearly available throughout my stay, I was repeatedly and flatly refused the complimentary upgrade that is a core benefit of my Titanium status. It felt incredibly frustrating to see an extended-stay customer, who provides so much business, be treated as less important than potential last-minute revenue. Their decision-making implied a focus on maximizing room sales rather than upholding the promise of the Bonvoy program. Rude and Unaccommodating Staff What truly made this stay miserable was the dismissive and cold attitude from the front desk team. Whenever I made a request or inquired about my reservations, the staff’s demeanor was rude and uncaring. Spending two weeks at a hotel where the staff treats you with such a complete lack of hospitality is simply unacceptable. Final Verdict The Lexington Hotel failed to provide even basic courtesy, let alone the elevated service expected of an Autograph Collection property. They made me feel like my Titanium Elite status and my significant business meant absolutely nothing. I strongly caution other high-tier Bonvoy members: If you value having your loyalty recognized, I recommend choosing another hotel in Manhattan.

This is by no means a 4-star hotel. The downstairs staff wasn't friendly. The rooms (while spacious for NYC) are outdated. The shower didn't drain properly. The restroom on the second floor had a pair of underwear on the floor and the toilet was clogged (I guess no one checks on the general restrooms from time to time?). I gave the front desk a package and asked if they could include it in outgoing mail. They clearly didn't send it because I received a $50 late fee today for not sending the package. It's not that bad of a hotel but the reality doesn't meet the expectation of a 4-star hotel in New York City. For reference, we stayed at the Evelyn last year and while the rooms are much smaller, I would by all means give it 4 stars. This one - 3 at best. Pros: great location, they gave us early check-in.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Lexington Hotel. Yes, rooms are small - it is NYC - but mine was in great condition. The room stayed properly temp control (still using AC in October!). Found the shower water pressure very relaxing. Bed was comfy as well. I am a gym rat and enjoyed my visit to Crunch Fitness which is complimentary for hotel guests. Would definitely return on an upcoming work trip.

The Lexington Hotel is an old soul, with old bones, but a young and vibrant spirit. First time staying here but was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the property. A short walk to grand central, the Lexington is well located in NE midtown. Plenty of good dining options in the area. The rooms are relatively palatial in size by current standards and clean, beds are comfortable, housekeeping was on point for me. However, the rooms do give “pre war” vibes. The lobby is a hub of activity with a beautiful hotel/bar. Shout out to Marcy at the front desk, who accommodated my need for a larger room with two beds (and two full bathrooms!), and a late checkout. Will definitely look to stay here again next time I’m in town
