The hotel and staff authentically demonstrate friendliness, courtesy and respect. Customer service is great, they are very polite and helpful. The rooms are pretty spacious, I came with 2 extra guest and we slept amazingly. Room service is excellent, Patricia, our room cleaner is AMAZING!! She kept our room nice and tidy; Patricia is always working and making sure everything is kept clean (she deserves a vacation) :) I cannot thank their staff enough, you all made our trip more comfortable and enjoyable.

Had a decent stay overall. The rooms were quite small for the price, but that’s pretty typical for downtown NYC. The location is amazing — lots of food spots nearby and a convenience store close by as well. Room service was excellent. The elevators were extremely busy and took a while to catch, but manageable. We were also woken up in the middle of the night due to a false alarm, which was a bit off‑putting. Still, it was a decent stay overall.

I stayed here a week and was very impressed. The rooms aren't huge, but very neat and tidy. Housekeeping staff went above and beyond to accommodate any wishes and did a wonderful makeover of the room. Reception staff was always friendly and helpful in case of questions. Overall a very nice hotel in an optimal location, close to the subway and the World Trade Center Complex. Only point of criticism is the elevator controls, which sometimes took for ever to arrive, and tried to accommodate to many requests from all floors to one elevator at a time.

Positives: - front desk staff were always very nice. - good location. Nice Italian restaurant next door. - I had fun conversations with other guests trying to figure out how to make the elevators go to your floor. Negatives: - tiny room, scuffed furniture, wall plugs that come out of the wall when you unplug anything. - the windows leaked cold water condensation onto the window sill, but that helped keep beer cold since there was no fridge in the room. - no microwave in the room. - no heater in the bathroom. No exhaust fan either. When I ask the front desk staff about it, a manager comes out from the back and says, "it's just a vent. It's an old building". - no shelf in the shower to place a razor or a washcloth, just an odd ADA compliant pull-up bar for ... exercising? - shower door designed so you have to reach in and turn on cold water all over yourself. - red light blinking on the hotel phone. When I call to see if there is a message for me, the operator says, "Just ignore it". - no in-room instructions that explains that you have to leave your card key in a card reader on the wall by the door in order to have the main room lights operate. - a sad little breakfast buffet with a couple of trays of half-warm food for $18 per person. No thanks. - "roof top bar" with a semi-permanent plastic pop-up structure, astroturf floor coverings, really loud music. - my room key stops working one afternoon. Nobody at the front desk acts like this is unusual. - about a 15 minute walk from the nearest subway station. This is on me, I should have done more research. For $300 average price per night Sat-Sun-Mon, I think I can find better hotels in Manhattan. I won't be staying here again.

So I have stayed at this hotel i believe 4 times now on business trips to NYC. Love the hotel and love the location for what ai need to do, however I always have issues with the credit card. Being a business trip, we use a digital card service, but they require a physical card at the location. I have tried everything and unfortunately will not be able to stay here anymore until they change their policy. I just went to order a room for a team member that is flying up in January and requested a credit card authorization form to try and prevent this issue the response was we don't accept these. I asked if we could change the card on file to the team members digital card and they require physical cards. Had to cancel and will have to use different holtels due to this moving forward. Change this policy and I will be glad to come back! Until then, I recommend anyone with a digital card try a different hotel (hotel indigo or Doubletree on stone I have never had issues with)
