The service was good, and Rey at the lobby was particularly helpful. The rooms, while small, were perfectly adequate. We found the cost of breakfast and coffee to be somewhat higher than expected. The hotel's location is adequate, but not comparable to the proximity of Times Square. The lobby, however, is relatively small with a restricted waiting space. Ultimately, if a favorable rate can be secured for a stay, guests should find the experience quite satisfactory.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Check in was a breeze and the room was clean and in great shape. But what stood out the most was how nice everyone was! I hope this is a reflection of how well the workers are treated and appreciated. Every single person we encountered was pleasant and helpful, from cleaning staff to the front desk. They went above and beyond whenever we needed help. Even our kids commented on how we had never stayed anywhere with such nice people. It really improved our experience. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious! We hope to return soon!

My stay at the Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan during Christmas 🎄 was truly wonderful and incredibly memorable. The hotel itself was comfortable, well-located, and the perfect place to relax while enjoying the magic of Nyc during the holidays. What really made this stay stand out, however, was the exceptional hospitality from the staff. Jessica & Jose at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive - they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and completely comfortable throughout my stay. Their warmth and professionalism made such a positive first impression and truly set the tone for the experience. Thanks to Jessica & Jose, my stay felt extra special, stress-free, and genuinely welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again. ✨🏙

This was my FOURTH stay at HY36 New York, and after tonight it will absolutely be my last. I have recommended this hotel to friends, family, and colleagues for years, but I deeply regret doing so now. The front desk employee working tonight delivered the single worst customer service experience I have ever encountered at this property. After being told by staff that we could finish our drinks and spend time in the back area after the bar closed, our group was later confronted by the front desk and spoken to in an incredibly disrespectful, hostile, and degrading manner. Rather than attempting to understand the situation, he chose to lecture and berate paying hotel guests. His behavior was unprofessional, combative, and completely unacceptable for anyone representing a hospitality brand. We have video recordings documenting the interaction and the way guests were treated. At no point should paying customers be spoken to with the level of contempt and arrogance that was displayed tonight. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that this wasn’t my first stay—it was my fourth. Loyalty clearly means nothing here. One employee managed to erase years of goodwill in a matter of minutes. HY36 has lost not only my business, but the business of everyone I have recommended to stay here. There are countless hotels in New York that understand the meaning of hospitality. Unfortunately, HY36 no longer appears to be one of them. I will never stay here again.

We arrived late on a Monday night and we were checked in by Agaibi. He ws extremely kind and gave us (my adult daughter and I) a corner handicap accessible room on the 9th floor. The room was one of the largest NYC hotel rooms I have had, and not at all what you expect for NYC. The room was nice and very quite. This area is in the garmet district and this street is not noisy at night. The hotel was just 2 blocks from the subway station so it was easy to get places. We felt very safe at this location and actually all of the city. We did happy hour at the hotel bar one evening and enjoyed some discounted appetizers which were tasty and filled the spot. There are drug stores and 7-11s near by if you want to pick something quick up. Every night when we came back to the hotel we were greated warmly by the doorman and the staff, it felt like we were coming home! ousekeeping came every day and straightened our room. When we checked out Sunday motrning we had Agaibi again to send us off on our travels home. This was an excellent stay and I highly recommend this hotel.
