Always a great experience when staying at the EDISON! The staff is so welcoming from the minute you walk into the lobby! Even the elevator music is great! The rooms are very quiet, so you have a great night sleep. The bed is very comfortable, and love the personalized note they leave you along with some snacks. Nice touch! It's the little things that show they care! The location is great, and love the convenience of having Starbucks down the block as well as a great pizza place. There's Friedmans deli in the lobby along with a great happening piano bar the Rum House! I'll definitely be back on my next trip to NY!

It’s hotel room close to time square. That about all nice, I can really say about it. The rooms are tiny, which in its self isn’t bad but you can barely move in them. The room was also gross, the sheet felt and smelled like the weren’t quite wash, or left in a wet pile for too long. And the water in the shower was ice cold (I waited 10 mins for it to heat and it never did). The staff was friendly enough, some friendlier than others. However, the location was amazing. It is walkable from time square. Walkable from broadway and plenty of to food and entertainment. Even with that, that still doesn’t save the room. 2 stars I feel is adequate for my experience

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Edison. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Our room was clean, comfortable, and a great place to unwind after exploring the city. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and inviting, and every interaction with the team was genuinely pleasant. Even though we didn’t get to try everything the hotel offers this time, we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for anyone visiting NYC!”

A great place to stay if you want a nice bed /shower & be in the center of theater district & Time Square. I previously stayed near Central Park. The vibe here is very different. I was very surprised how busy & “Vegas” like the area was. It’s changed a lot. So many people. All & all nice staff. Old but clean. Felt safe walking near hotel late at night. Loved the remodeled bathroom. Very nice shower. No tub in our room. Wish the room lightening was different in room. The hotel kept our luggage all day for a cheap price since we couldn’t check in till 3 pm. We stayed out till 11 pm. Our flight left early so we couldn’t enjoy the free breakfast. I booked this hotel an hour before walking in the door. It was booked through a popular Hotel app. I asked for accommodations for 2 adults & 2 kids. The manager surprised us with an upgrade & the room was a suite with 3 large beds on 12th floor. All & all I gambled on this deal & I won big! I can imagine NYE here would be amazing & crazy. :)

We just left from a stay at Hotel Edison and it was wonderful. Very quiet, clean, and beautiful. The doorman was so kind and pleasant. When leaving he was shaking hands with someone. As he loaded our luggage in a cab he told us the person he was shaking hands with was the owner. He said he is an amazing and caring person to work for. The trip was for our 10 year old son and he loves historic and old kind of “fancy” hotels. He loved this one! The grab and go breakfast was wonderful. We ate dinner the first night at Friedman’s and heard the Gayle Rose Broadway performers. They were wonderful! It was great to just go downstairs and eat a great dinner without having to leave the hotel. High recommend Hotel Edison!
