We’ve just returned from an incredible two-week stay at Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort, including New Year’s Eve, and once again the experience was outstanding. We stayed here last year for New Year and loved it so much we had to return — and it did not disappoint. The hotel is immaculately clean, with staff working tirelessly day and night. Our room was perfectly located near the pools and beach, and our room cleaner Amr was exceptional — always polite and leaving lovely towel and petal surprises on the bed. We spent most days on the beautiful beach, where Mahmoud went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and well hydrated, regularly bringing drinks so we didn’t need to leave our sunbeds. Zahiur, the lifeguard in the adults-only beach area, was excellent — professional, friendly, and even remembered our names from the first meeting. The animation team were fantastic, full of energy from morning until night. Special thanks to Shika for always checking in on us, Ellie for being a great and friendly addition to the team, and Crush for the laughs (and his dangerously addictive card game!). The restaurants were excellent with great food and service throughout. Most evenings we relaxed in the adults-only reception bar, where Ahmed looked after us brilliantly — he remembered our drinks almost instantly and always brought great banter. A real credit to the hotel. We met many returning guests, which says everything about this amazing resort. Huge thanks to all the staff for another unforgettable holiday — we’ll definitely be back again this year 😉🌴

Beautiful time. Beautiful staff. Beautiful place. Fantastic ents team, in particular Crush and Fadi who had such wonderful energy. All the staff in all the restaurants were incredibly attentive, and so keen to help. Incredible service from all aspects of the hotel. The grounds are beautifully clean, and well keeped. The rooms were cleaned so well, and we loved the towel art, especially the birthday towels. In was lovely having such a wide range of restaurants to choose from. Credit to all the chefs, waiters, assistant chefs, pot washers…..basically everyone is so kind and lovely and made us feel so welcome Also a big thank you to extra fun divers who took us to some amazing dive sights. Thank you everyone.

We spent a most enjoyable and relaxing week at the resort this month. There's plenty to do without the need to particularly leave the complex. The walk along the path to the front of the hotel is lovely and takes you past other hotels. The weather was great, a bit of wind on the first couple of days but then plenty warm enough to spend the day relaxing in the sun. The resort looked beautiful all decorated for Christmas and decorations were added to daily. Our room was a little dated and the block we were in (11) was a bit echoey so noises from the corridor filtered in but it was kept spotlessly clean. The food was great, always plenty of choice, even for vegetarians. Just be careful though, I once found a dish with chicken in labeled as vegetarian! It was swiftly resolved when I mentioned it though. The drinks were fine too, though the wine wasn't the best. All of the staff were fantastic and really helpful if needed. Only once were we directly asked for tips at the pool bar by the slides. It certainly did the trick of providing a relaxing week in the sun to solar power us through winter!

Our holiday here was amazing! We felt like home and hotel personnel is its real and main asset. Everyone make you feel like a valued guest and it’s not just words. Perfect beach, always enough sun beds, you have both: sand and clear water + reef, which is very close and accessible from the shore. Perfect food, wide selection of different kinds of meals for every time of the day. Kids also enjoy ice cream during the day on the beach. I am not sure any other hotel can suggest that level of service. Special thanks to Eslam from reception, he will always pay attention to your needs and never forget about your problems! Also, many many thanks to Nadine from kids club, the most talented kids entertainment team member I have ever seen! Overall, this is the only hotel in my life I want to visit again some day.

I checked out today after an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect — the facilities, services, and overall atmosphere were outstanding. The staff exceeded all expectations, from the reception team to the animation team. I prefer not to mention specific names because everyone was incredibly helpful and professional, without exception. What I loved the most is that you literally don’t need to leave the hotel for anything — it has everything you could possibly need: a pharmacy, a gym, nine restaurants, a beautiful sandy beach, and various sports courts. There were activities available at all times, making every moment enjoyable, and the food was absolutely delicious. This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Egypt. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
