I recently stayed at this hotel in Egypt and had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained throughout my stay. The hotel’s atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable, with great facilities and attention to detail in every corner. The food options were excellent, offering a variety of delicious dishes. The pool and beach areas were spotless and perfect for unwinding. Overall, everything was truly outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I would happily return again. Highly recommended!

We have just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel resort. We had previously stayed two years running at Rixos Premium Seagate in Sharm el Sheikh and loved the quality of everything. At considerably less cost, I can honestly say this hotel is a fantastic resort in every way. The buffet restaurants that had fewer choices than Rixos, had excellent food with plenty of choice daily. Barbecue each night with a different offering added to the many dishes available in the restaurants. The staff at the Waves buffet restaurant are extremely efficient and very likeable. Lovely people especially the manager (sorry I can't remember his name), Muhammed, Youssef and the other staff. The restaurant is run incredibly well and provides something for all tastes. All drinks, even though local, were very acceptable. The draft beer was excellent. Wine...very drinkable. Gin and Tonics tasted like Gordon's. The room was immaculately clean as were the common areas and gardens. Everything was maintained to a high standard. Plenty of sun loungers available around pools as well as on the beach that was kept very clean. All of the staff at this hotel have a great attitude which ensures we will be booking again for next November.

Disappointing Reception Experience – A Shame for an Otherwise Nice Hotel! We stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a pleasant stay. Most of the staff were kind, attentive, and really tried to make guests feel welcome. The service in the restaurant, animation and housekeeping was good, and we truly appreciated their friendliness and hard work. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception staff was extremely disappointing. We arrived at around 7 a.m. after a long and exhausting night flight. We were fully aware that check-in was scheduled for 3 p.m., and we did not expect our room to be ready early. However, the way we were treated upon arrival was very unfriendly and unhelpful. What we found particularly strange was that we were not even given a wristband, which meant we couldn’t have anything to eat or drink until the official check-in time. After such a long journey, a small gesture of hospitality — even just allowing access to water or breakfast, not just after complaining about it — would have made a huge difference. To make matters worse, when we later asked for a simple cold pack after an injury, we were told that it would only be available for an extra charge. In a situation clearly requiring basic first aid and empathy, this response felt both disrespectful and heartless. It’s a real shame, because apart from the reception, the hotel has a lot of potential and many wonderful staff members. With a more welcoming and compassionate reception team, this could easily be a truly great place to stay.

The overall experience was okay, I would say that the level of service from the staff was largely dependent on how much tips you provide even if when staying on an all inclusive basis as we did. The location is good with a lovely private beach/ reef, which is probably the highlight of the hotel. The buffet restaurant was decent and there were lots of varieties of food. The 3 other restaurants including Mexican, Italian and Indian were okay but nothing special. I don't think I would return but I would recommend this hotel for people who want to snorkel and swim in the sea.

Highly Recommend! 🌴❤️ We stayed for a week at the Tropitel Hotel, and I have to say — we’ll definitely be coming back! The beach is absolutely stunning, full of fascinating sea life to explore. The pools are fantastic, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and while the food isn’t exceptional, it’s still very good. We tried the Italian, Mexican, and Indian restaurants — and the Indian was our favorite by far. But the real highlight of this hotel is the staff. Everyone is so friendly, always checking in to make sure you’re enjoying your stay. Their warmth truly makes the experience special. Yes, there’s a tipping culture throughout Egypt, but honestly, it didn’t bother us — it feels quite natural, especially compared to where we’re from 😅. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Egypt! 🐫✨
