The entire resort is exceptionally well designed — spacious, beautifully landscaped with trees, flowers, and greenery, and featuring an impressive pool area that creates a truly relaxing atmosphere. He was always extremely polite, attentive, and friendly, with a genuinely positive attitude that made every meal a pleasure. The Steigenberger Al Dau Beach is definitely one of the top hotels in Hurghada. The entire resort is extremely clean, well maintained, and beautifully green. The location is excellent, the pools are large and never felt crowded, and the beach area is very pleasant. The hotel offers plenty of space, comfortable and spacious rooms, and a generally luxurious atmosphere. It’s a great choice for both families and couples. There are also many restaurants available, and guests can use the waterslides at the Aqua Magic Hotel next door, which is a nice extra. Positive: • Very clean and well-kept resort • Great location • Large pools, not overcrowded • Beautiful green gardens • Spacious, comfortable rooms • Good beach area • Suitable for families and couples • Many restaurants • Luxury feel • Access to the Aqua Magic waterslides Negative: • Activities and excursions sold by hotel staff (boat trips, etc.) are far too expensive. It’s better to look for local alternatives outside the hotel. • The food is okay, but as almost everywhere in Egypt, stomach issues are quite common — expect some days of diarrhea. • Some staff members were not very friendly and too aggressive when it came to asking for tips. In a hotel of this category, this should be handled better, and staff definitely need more training. • Staff selling activities can be quite pushy at times. However, you can hang a red bag on your sunbed (pool or beach) to signal that you do not want to be approached. Overall: The overall hotel experience is very good, and the resort is surely among the best in Hurghada. However, if you compare all-inclusive standards, Turkey is still a significantly better choice — the experience simply isn’t comparable.

The room is clean and housekeepers are very friendly. The restaurant has a good selection and was nice and staff helpful. Thai restaurant across the road was not our preference. The snorkel trip was insane and beautiful at the dive centre of the hotel. Staff helpful and the videographer was amazing! And stafff very helpful and friendly, gym staff helpful. Sobky was very friendly always checking in on us and great entertainer especially the aqua fit so much fun! Would recommend and had a great time!

Lovely hotel, room was very clean and spacious. Plenty of yummy food available at the buffet and lots of cocktails and drink options. The pool area is massive and extremely well maintained, looks gorgeous and lots to do including lazy river and pool bar. It is also close to the beach and you have access to the aqua magic hotel for the water park slides which is very handy. just a couple of reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5: I felt breakfasts could have been better, this is largely due to the fact they don't do pork so no bacon or pork sausages :( I also felt a lot of the pastries were too sweet. That being said there is still plenty on offer. Secondly and the biggest reason for 4 star is that they didn't advertise the entertainment widely enough. We didn't realise we had access to the arena outside the hotel for entertainment until Halloween night. The hotel advertised Halloween stuff that was on, we assumed in the same hotel, so we stayed in the normal area expecting it to come on. I had to ask someone where it was as nothing was starting. We were then told about the arena, but by then we had missed the start of the event. Not sure if we had missed events earlier in the week that we could have attended. I think they need to maybe give a handout at check in of where entertainment is as the only thing I was given (and I had to ask at reception) was stuff on at the hotel. They do have a board with entertainment listings on it in the pool area but again we just chanced upon that, nobody told us this is where you go to find the entertainment. Nobody told us about the arena at all. Hopefully someone at the hotel is reading and can try and make sure in future guests have more knowledge about the arena and what is on.

A Perfect Return Visit to Steigenberger Aldau – Exceptional Service and Hospitality We recently returned to Steigenberger Aldau for our second visit in November, and we were not disappointed! From the moment we arrived, we were reminded why this hotel is so special. Our suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with a fully stocked fridge. The highlight, of course, was the stunning view over the pools and the Red Sea. Check-in was seamless, and within an hour, we were already enjoying drinks in the bar, However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional customer service. Over the last decade, we've travelled extensively around the world, and I can honestly say the service we experienced here was some of the best we've ever had. In fact, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff were the primary reasons we chose to return, this is the first time we've ever revisited the same hotel! I want to give a special shoutout to some incredible staff members who made our stay truly unforgettable: Haba Abdullah (Housekeeping) Haba’s cheerful demeanour and ever-present smile were a joy every time we saw her Muhammed Awny (Lounge) Despite being busy, Muhammed always took the time to make us feel like we were the only guests there. His personal attention, along with Abdelrahman Hamdy, ensured our glasses were never empty, and they both went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Mohamed Esmail (Buffet Lunch & Outside Bar) The standout service from Mohamed Esmail is worth mentioning in particular. This young man truly went the extra mile to make us feel like royalty. Even when he was busy, he was always attentive and made sure we had everything we didn't even realize we needed. One example that stands out: After my partner had finished a bowl of shell-on prawns, Mohamed immediately brought a bowl of lemon water and napkins for him to clean his hands at the table. It's the little details like this that made the experience feel so personal and thoughtful. I genuinely believe Mohamed has a bright future ahead of him and is a shining example to the others, real management material and I wouldn't be surprised if he's running the hotel on our next visit! The food selection was varied, plentiful, and delicious, with plenty of options to suit every taste. We never felt like we were wanting for anything, and every meal was a treat. All in all, our second stay at Steigenberger Aldau was just as wonderful as the first, if not better. The staff's dedication to providing top-notch service truly sets this hotel apart. We will definitely be returning, and I can't wait to see the team again!
