The wedding team at Secrets is incredibly talented and knowledgeable! My wedding happened the day before the island shut down for Hurricane Melissa. Despite this huge challenge, the team made the day special and safe. I worked with Ideria and she was absolutely amazing! She provided timely guidance and helped to pace the decisions we needed to make regarding the storm. Though I’m sure we all felt anxiety regarding the looming storm, Ideria maintained a calm, supportive, and focused disposition for every event. She wisely had us move the ceremony up to better account for potential weather. She also set up a bridal suite for me in the building of the ball room in case there was rain. Ideria’s ability to creatively problem solve made the day seamlessly beautiful. I was able to trust her completely and I’m so grateful for her kindness and support. Though I didn’t get to work extensively with Shanelle and Chinoy, they were extremely friendly and fun to chat with in the wedding office. Their presence also brought me great peace, levity, and reassurance. I felt the entire team surrounded me with encouragement and love. A wedding day can be so stressful and to have coordinators who can confidently handle any scenario is a gift. This was such a unique situation and still they pulled off an amazing event. I have no hesitation in recommending this amazing team to care for your wedding day. You can easily trust your day to this team. The resort is truly beautiful with the most amazing staff ever! Their kindness and hospitality during a looming hurricane was incredible. Even after the storm they tried to keep our spirits up despite not knowing how their own family were faring. I am inspired by their humanity and kindness. This is a beautiful community to host your vacation or wedding. I highly recommend!

This trip we took in September last year was the most amazing time of my life! It was our honeymoon- we felt more than special and had the most fun we could ever imagine. Every single person we spoke to made our experience better by ten folds. We loved Cruise at the bar and all the other bartenders! They treated us like family. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful too especially this gorgeous woman with big eyes and braids- I forget her name since it has been several months but she was such a gem and lovely! Even the guy who first escorted us to our rooms set our trip off to the most happy start. I have now gone into the hotel business partly because of my experience here. I think about the staff everyday when I work, how they treated my Husband and I, and how I want each guest I speak to to feel as amazing and seen as we did. We also loved the experience of the romantic dinner. Denice was amazing and she referred to herself as DeNICE and believe me she was! The food was delicious- I so enjoyed trying traditional Jamaican dishes especially the oxtail and jerk chicken. A core memory of mine was when we first saw the resort- truly an out of this world level beauty. All I feel is grateful that I got to experience such a beautiful place at such a beautiful time in mine and my Husbands life. Thank you guys for a truly magnificent stay. When we can we really want to come back!!!

This review is way overdue but never forgotten I had the best time at Secrets wild Orchard in Jamaica. Everyone was so nice helpful accommodating and the food was awesome!! The homemade salsa at the buffet was so delicious I was so thankful they packed me a to-go container.

Beach resort & drink service was lovely. Most service was polite. They don’t do jerk chicken as lunch service or on beach, quite surprised! Room service, cleaning was poor, they make you wait along time & still get it wrong when things you ask for that arrive. I was disappointed in that area for the five star resort we pay for!

Our experience at Secrets Wild Orchid was was nothing short of amazing. The staff delivered unprecedented service. Our guide Brandon was truly the best in the business. In addition we purchased the private Moonlight Dinner and couldn’t have been happier. This was our first trip to Jamaica 🇯🇲 and I can say we will definitely return. Rooms could use some updating.
