We would like to sincerely thank [Hotel Name] for an absolutely wonderful and memorable holiday. My husband and I stayed at the hotel during our honeymoon, and we were truly impressed by the high level of service, care, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere from the very first day. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff — the entertainment team who create joy and great energy, the restaurant staff who provided excellent service during breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, always attentive and kind. Special thanks to the reception team for their professionalism and support, and to the drivers who took us on excursions — everything was well organised and comfortable. Our room was beautiful, cosy, and always perfectly clean. The housekeeping was excellent. The beds and bedding deserve special praise — truly high-quality and extremely comfortable, which is very important to me. We stayed in room 2211 and were more than satisfied. The pools were spotless, the bartenders were fantastic, and all drinks were of good quality. We especially enjoyed the wine served in the restaurants during meals. A separate thank you to Le Card restaurant for its diverse, high-quality, and delicious food. It was honestly surprising to read occasional negative comments about this hotel. We personally see no real downsides, even considering that our stay was after Hurricane Melissa. The hotel is fully restored, works at full capacity, and is clearly very well managed. Huge respect and gratitude to the manager behind this excellent organisation. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is kind, calm, and genuinely friendly. If I were to mention a small note, it would be the beach. It is clean and pleasant, but the sea colour there is quite ordinary for the Caribbean. However, this is not something the hotel can control — beautiful beaches are nearby, and the pool area is an excellent alternative. And finally, a very special mention: one lovely woman working in the restaurant truly stayed in our hearts. She always sings softly while setting the tables, smiles constantly, and hums along to the music. Her warmth and joy made every meal feel special and unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel. We were truly happy with our stay and grateful for such a beautiful honeymoon experience.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach is a lovely family friendly all-inclusive resort. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. The accommodations are roomy and clean with a separate sunken living room. Excellent view of the pool and beach below. I found the main dining hall offered a wide variety of breakfast and dinner choices and enjoyed it very much. The specialty Asian restaurant was very enjoyable, but the Greek/Mediterranean restaurant I didn’t care for. Rooms feature clean and comfy accommodations with a large bathroom with shower and tub, plenty of casual seating, in room coffee/tea and fridge with soda/beer, which is restocked daily. WiFi was robust and complementary. The beach was wide, clean, and expansive but showed just a touch of damage from the recent Hurricane Melissa. Some of the palm-frond shade covers on the beach and pool showed some damage, but the resort itself seemed untouched. For a quieter, more luxurious adults-only experience, try the neighboring Iberostar Selections resort just next-door.

We had a blast at Iberostar! We brought our baby and parents. The staff were excellent and lots of fun. The tennis coach Delano was a highlight— we played some vigorous rounds of pickleball together with him. They are doing a good job repairing any damage— travellers should not worry and come spend their money in Jamaica!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Montego Bay at the Joia resort. The service was exceptional and the food incredible. Location was a quick 20 minute drive from the airport. Daily entertainment was great and Alrick on the beach kept us entertained. The people here in Jamaica were eager to please and treated us like family. We will be back! Thanks Jamaica!!

Visited in mid Dec 2025, despite being under renovation from Hurricane Melissa, the experience was very good. We were one of the first guest to visit on the day the hotel opened, we enjoyed the tree lighting ceremony. Too Short and her team kept us busy and entertained. The variety of food was exceptional especially the theme night. Chef Marcus was exceptional. Aniffiah the lady that wear the glasses and welcome guest at the buffet was exceptional, very pleasant. Overall our experience was very good. Two days after returning home, I realized that the hotel drew CA$588 from my credit card, I called several times to find out the reason no one picked up,I also emailed the hotel no response. My bank is now investigation the matter as it was an extra charge by the hotel. The reservation was paid for in full from Oct 2025, we had no damages or anything that would cause the hotel to draw extra money from my credit card. Please respond to my email and return my money, I will be happy to update the world that you guys respond to my email and resolve the issue.
