Coming to the Iberostar waves is like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.🌈 The service and the people who work here is what makes your stay here so special. The entertainment crew are brilliant at why they do. From the encouragement to play team games like pétanque, to volleyball. The magician had some super talents - blown away. Shout out to Too short and her sister Red Bull who have both been so welcoming. Very blessed to have been in town for the Independence Day celebrations. The local marching band and in-house history of dance culture show were fenomenal. The work for the poolside buffet was impressive , and the post disco 🕺 dance hall was great fun and finished with a top notch firework display. The beach location is well equipped with two pools a beautiful beach and everything you need to entertain teenagers little ones and grown up who are young at heart. The whole place is a vibe- the joy of Jamaica 🇯🇲 in every fibre. The hotel staff know how to cater to families and look after them, as the team operate like a family and everyone is so friendly. The food is delicious with a great variety. The authentic local beef patties and coco bread are to die for. Just go easy on the scotch bonnet . Keymank and Onishe make a mean cocktails from the pool bar - work through the menu as they pair well with the glorious sunsets. If you see a deal don’t hesitate to book. We used virgin holidays and the flights service was impeccable.

We had an amazing stay at the Iberostar Rose Hall. The resort was beautiful and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Not to mention the ambiance and tranquility of the environment! It was superb. Everything from the food, the entertainment and the quality services offered made the stay a world class one. A special thank you to our Concierge Marcia! She was absolutely wonderful. She paid attention to details and ensured that we felt welcomed in all aspects. She never hesitated to ensure that whatever we needed assistance with was done with the warmest smile on her face. Fantastic vacation! Definitely returning and will be recommending to others.

Fantastic Resort! Great Service & Food!!! Entertainment staff was Amazing! We had a group of 20 and the staff at this resort went above and beyond to make our vacation wonderful! Smiley was incredible everyday at all the activities and Ann Marie was a phenomenal Member Services Ambassador! She made sure every moment was perfect! From the booking, hotel transportation, the welcoming, the massages, kid club, housekeeping, all the restaurants were delicious, all the shows such as the Michael Jackson show, Motown show, the violinist, the fire show, the reggae night, the white night and all the other things, there was never anything bad! What a great vacation! We plan on returning over and over!

I recently stayed at Iberostar Waves Jamaica for 4 nights and 5 days with my family. We booked our vacation through JetBlue Vacations and were supposed to receive a pool/ocean-view room. Unfortunately, the room we received was not what we expected, and we were also surprised that the balcony was shared. During our stay, our TV stopped working because the cable went out. We contacted the front desk and were told someone would come to the room, but after waiting about an hour, no one showed up. When we went to the front desk ourselves, we were finally told the cable was completely out. Thankfully, we had brought our Fire Stick, but the lack of communication was frustrating. The food was also disappointing. Some of the food was served cold, and there were not many options for toddlers or picky eaters. I was also surprised that they didn’t have plantains, especially at a resort in Jamaica. During the VIP breakfast for the resort’s membership presentation, I saw a roach and small flies around the pastries at the steakhouse near the Selection resort, which completely turned me off from eating there. The water park was another disappointment, especially since we were traveling with a toddler. Some parts appeared broken down, and the area looked old and poorly maintained, with visible rust. For a family resort, I expected the children’s water areas to be in much better condition. We also attended the 90-minute membership presentation, which did not feel worth it to us. The down payment they were asking for was around $4,000–$6,000, plus a monthly fee, so we declined. The most upsetting part of the trip was having teenagers repeatedly kick our hotel room door and run away. This happened at night and even woke up my toddler. We reported it to the hotel and eventually learned that the children’s parents had been contacted and that the family would be leaving the resort. The hotel did bring us a bottle of wine, but the entire situation should never have escalated that far. Overall, there were too many issues during our stay—from the room, food, and poorly maintained water park to poor communication and the incident with our door. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not stay at Iberostar Waves Jamaica again.

I checked in Sunday 8/23/26 and have loved evry minute of the experience from beginning to end. Susana at the concierge desk, has been remarkably helpful with all of our questions and has gone out if way to accommodate our experience. What can I say about the food.... Exceptional! The number of selections available catering to all food pallets cannot be overstated. Highly recommend Iberostar-Wave & Susana for the first class experience!
